My Rose chewed my Dad's trainer laces to pieces, and she also liked zips.

And speaking of Beagles ... in puppy class there was one called Chunky. How can you not love a dog with a name like that. laughing

How do dogs know they hate cats?? I mean ... who tells them? Are they born with this gene or what?

I mean, there's a few cats in my neighbourhood and they regularly walk along our back walls. I lost my precious cat nearly two years ago, but her pals still come calling and if I happen to say "hello little black cat" as she walks across my wall as I'm looking out of the window doing the washing up ... Rose just does her nut and goes hurtling out there barking her head off. Doh

I think it is like a plaything going because Maisie wants to play with me 2 cats and they are not interested.

My girlfriend was watching the film 'P.S I Love You' and she barked through it, so we have the same taste in films laughing

I used to have a Jack Russell and two cats. Whilst he loved "his" cats and the 3 of them were best of friends ... he would have gladly eaten any other cat that came near him. laughing

Genetic memory is an amazing thing wooffie!
Like identical twins parted at birth who develop similar tastes in life, similar jobs, partners, dress sense, etc. Weird isnt it...

Very weird Lydian. Now take us lot ... we all came to 606 in our different ways but had the single thing of supporting Rafa. Turns out that I live in the same town as someone else, and that person worked with my mother. Manchester is my second home and one of us has a brother in Manchester. Another is the next county down from me. Three of us live in the same area of London, and one takes their child to school which was literally across the road from where another one lived.

Yep ... weird.

Just a little "tail" about Angus my Cairn ... today has been extrememly hot in dear old Spain and it was nearly 40 deg in the garden this afternoon... I took the hosepipe to Angus who had a whale of a time trying to catch the water... he did this for about 10 mins .. looking a somewhat bedraggled, exhausted, if not a much cooler "puppy dog" I toweled him down gave him his tea and is now flat out on the stone floor.

I am finding it hilarious that Al Murray is forwarding on all the good luck messages as so many people think he is Andy Murray on twitter. Laugh

Slightly tennis related but didn't know where else to put it.

It can go on the Wimbledon matchdays as we tend to put odd bits in there which are related to tennis, bit not fully thumbsup

Played doubles one set today due to time constraints and it went all the way. It was me and my nephew v my brother and his brother. We were 2 breaks down and were 4-1 down and we managed to get it back and it went to 6-6. Tie-breaker and we were 6-4 down when, I was serving and one a second serve out wide which just clipped the line and the ball was returned and I managed to get a slice in and I was at the net and my brother thought he put away the volley, until my nephew played a stunning lob that clipped baseline. 2 breaks later my nephew served out with a FH cross court. We won 7-6! C'mon!

you think that's hot, you should try New York for a week, stifling! The Met is a seriously impressive museum: I went twice, spent about 5 hours there in all, and still never made it above the ground floor...
