I thought I would start this off.

My Westie awww bless her had her first jab and was a brave girl, then outside the vets a punch erupted and the police were there and everything. Not sure what that was over. It descended into the Bingo Hall Car Park. Someone cheating perhaps?

That'll teach you to stab your baby !!!!

Man it was weird. While the police were questioning the culprits, some of the others were still trying to get into the ambulance to hit the person more!!

And I got my first challenge on allplay!! Shall shine my racket up

It is a 40-45 year old so I have youth on my side.

Rose's haircut is between and Her legs and tail are ok, and her ears are alright ... but she could have done with some more taking off her body.

I am sooooooooooooo fussy!! But I want her to have the perfect haircut. Not that I'm ever fussy about hair ...

Mr Y shaves Harry every month 'cos he's got 2 coats !

An under coat of *felt like* stuff and *over coat* that's
about 1 ft long. The poor little lad gets sooo hot in summer .

Groomer is still alive, Yums, cos at least this time she didn't make her look like a shorn lamb.

I was asleep yummy, then the dog climbed up me face and dug her nails into me face

Maisie has nails like daggers
She stumbles and barks and staggers
I am still sore from football
We leaked goals like a waterfall
My nephew has watched tennis in Eastbourne

The moral of this sad tale is
Do not fall asleep
unless your puppy's tucked away
into a tidy heap .

The moral is to get her nails clipped

Whew !!!! Legend I wondered what you were going to say then... lucky escape if you ask me.. anything can happen with a puppy

I was always too scared to clip my Rose's nails, so I just put up with it. Then got the vet to do it at one of her trips there.

evening all, just back from cricket nets, played pretty well, now if only I could carry that form into this week-end's match (like, score some runs would be nice). Maybe I'll take my teammate's advice and try imagining there's a net around while I'm batting...

the week before wimbledon, the calm before the (media-)storm, the agonising wait for the draw.

Oh and the lab where I'm doing my PhD is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week, which means party time (and going to listen to the odd talk if there's an interesting one going around).

DRS in France? Seems like a distant dream right now LK. I'd settle for decent umpires (i.e some which are less than 60 years old, and aren't deaf AND blind). TBH though my middle form has been pretty poor anyway, but it always seems that's when you start getting a couple of poor decisions...

Ah well, let's see how it goes on saturday, hopefully the top order bats well and they don't even need me.

I had a Beagle many years ago and my friend´s father taught him how to undoe shoe laces. when he was a puppy.

O dear did that dog get us into trouble

The salesman was willing to take the abuse Maisie gave him and he took it well.

I love Beagle's. My friend had one and he was a little devil. But I thought he was great. Especially when he was hiding the dad's slippers.
