First topic message reminder :

Removed the old one because it was full of crap.

Remember that this section is open only under the condition that it isn't used to attack others. Attacks based on religion was a big reason why it was closed the last two times, so cut it out. If you can't play nicely, don't play at all.

Next time I'm just deleting the section, it's a waste of my time having to wade through all the crap. This thread is supposed to be light-hearted, keep it that way.

What really grinds my gears is boxing and more specifically its fans. And coincidentally for this poster glorification of the military also grinds my gears. Both are vile and unnecessary activities, and are easily the equal of football hooliganism when it comes to assigning idiocy to those that partake in them.

The SAS are well good though. Particular the snipers who can blow people's heads off from 1500m. Vietnam was good as well.

Most things are unnecessary activity though Mclaren, especially when you can't appreciate the skill involved.

Football is just kicking a bag of air
Rugby's throwing a misshapen bag of air
F1 is who's got the better car
etc etc

Ok, so is it only the SAS you like or do you get excited about other sectors of the armed forces?

Yeah but they don't (ok f1 does a little bit) involve the unnecessary suffering of people and the promotion of violence. The logic of boxing is just terrible. Get some fun punching someone in your twenties then live as a sniffling stuttering fool for the rest of your life.

Like I said, Vietnam. Without it we would have neither napaalm nor cluster bombs at our disposal these days.

The Falklands was good as well but I imagine we would struggle to invade Argentina again. With the rugby world cup coming up shortly I believe it would cause embarrasment to the government having 15 Argies larking around on the hallowed turf of HQ.

Nb plus the Russians would probably seel the Argies the S300 missile system which would make bombing Fray Bentos difficult albeit not impossible.

The golf section? That place populated by nimrods who think hitting a ball great distances with expensive sticks whilst walking around in garish clothing with the sole aim of being better than some fella who f*cked it all up by nobbing four women at the same time whilst he's equally attractive wife was at home (who incidentally smashed the f*ck out of him rendering him no longer a golfing legend but complete tw*t in the process)?

In fairness to McLaren before I was corrupted by watching Boxing on TV...

I used to spend my time under a tree reciting poetry to my adoring girlfriend......Philosophizing on how we could make the world better a place !!!

But it was porn that corrupted me to the point of no return angel ......and I love it !!

Tell that to the poor Chinese hostess hosed down by Lewis Hamilton as he took out his post-Nicole break up angst on her by imagining him emptying his load into her face. He barely refrained from screaming "Screw you b!tch, I'm somebody too in this relationship. OK you want kids and I don't want to have sex with you. Cristiano Ronaldo also doesn't want to have sex with his beautiful girlfriend, what are you saying...he's gay? I'm gay? Is that it, Nicole...IS THAT IT????....oops did I say that out loud?"

You're clearly a moron, a poster had been reinstated to the forum and as such I cleaned the thread up to get rid of the garbage posted about said user, it was also an attempt to get the thread back on track which doesn't seem to have worked and certain posters are like teenage girls who have lost their first boyfriend, easy mistake to make when reading someone's username on the mobile site by the way. Not the biggest text.

Now, shouldn't you be playing in the sand?

I have no idea what he was mumbling about, Shah.

My neighbour has started cleaning up after the big storm. He accidentally started doing some of my bit out on the front footpath. That really grinds my gears. Told him to stop, I'd do it properly when there is enough light in the morning.

People who deface monuments or spray graffiti around cemeteries. Also around churches.

We've had a recent spate of some d1ckheads spraying over noticeboards near meeting halls and churches on posters and notices commemorating WW1... and ANZAC events, etc. What a low act.

The cops have narrowed it down to a fan of some psycho-metal band that was playing nearby.
I really would lock that guy up and get him to scrub walls for a few years.

That IS destruction of those priceless artifacts in the museum in Mosul. Made me feel sick.

If ever caught, I would wrap them all in plaster and then smash them with sledgehammers and drill some holes in them.
See how they like it.

Any chance the mods could confirm whether the house rules permit the use of language which discriminates against those with mental or physical disabilities?  (As I suspect "moron" falls into this category).  Thanks.

PS If it turns out that we shouldn't use the term I will also stop using it.

Jon Snow from GoT. You mean the handsome, brooding warrior who inspires fear and respect amongst his friends. That Jon Snow?

Yep, I can definitely see the similarities between him and michaels.

I'd quite like to be Jon Snow. Would love to have a go on that ginger northerner. She was in my top 5 last year but I stopped watching when the missus told me everyone got killed at a wedding.
