Valero, on Facebook believe Froch is saying it will be the O2. He was also on sky yesterday saying whilst Kessler was willing to come to the UK doing it in Nottingham was a step too far for him so it does look very much like you'll get your wish.

From my perspective, the 02 is an excellent choice...anything that prevents Peter Kay or Michael McIntyre performing there can only be a positive.

I'd probably welcome the return of N-Dubz if that was the outcome.

Credit to Hearn for securing the fight and Kessler for being true to his word. Fingers crossed it lives up the massive hype it will undoubtedly generate. It would be nice to get a top quality undercard too!

This is great news. I haven't been to a live fight since 2009 but I am going to rectify that when the fight is announced for sure.

The o2 is a good arena as well. Easy to get to and from.

Am on holiday in May so it looks very much like my bad luck with Froch fights could continue, can only hope it clashes with the holiday so I can watch it in a bar in the sun.

But they're Britain's best loved comedians....or so I'm told. I'd pay to see Kay and McIntyre hit other for 12 rounds....I'd pay more to watch Froch and Kessler hit them though.

don't encourage him, he was no more 'right' than any of the other 100s of fight fans who've predicted this fight over the last 6 months or so. Fact is it wasn't agreed until last night, over-night (Eddie was tweeting from the office during negotiations), therefore it was not possible to have inside/early information. We all knew it was under negotiation, nothing remarkable there.

Got to say this was hardly the sports best kept secret was it. Given Froch was openly and publically giving interviews stating they were trying to make the fight you hardly had to be Woodward and Bernstein to be on top of this story.

Was the Kessler fight in his home town? Seems a bit girly to agree to England but not Nottingham.

The first fight was in Herning and Kessler is from Copenhagen.

There is probably more money in fighting in London.

Froch said something I found a bit strange:

Odd thing to say when many think he would have won by being busier.

I don't remember the fight being particularly brutal either. I think this is a bit of selective remembrance on Frochs' part. Anyway, Froch to win by KO late rounds for me.

Heavy blows were thrown but at times i thought Froch looked sluggish.

If he wants to beat Kessler this time, toe-2-toe is not the answer. He needs to out box him, jab, jab and to the body. Wear him down then take him out upstairs.

Fantastic fight. Hope this is an indication of things to come in 2013. Must tip my hat to both men for agreeing to this. To often these days do the respective belt holders avoid fighting each other, so it refreshing to see two warriors willing to put it on the line in what should be a cracking match up. Bravo.
