The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Bridgend

First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Dew Drop Inn, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

This week the pub has set up in Bridgend, the birthplace of ex Wales and Lions centre Dr. Jack Matthews, who has sadly passed away.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Dr Jack Matthews and his Welsh centres partner Bleddyn Williams.

I like the slow burners. They work well and I think those films would have felt rushed otherwise Nothc.

Strange thing is even though it's 20 years ago and I know what happened I'm still nervous.

That performance was a big surprise to me, I didn't expect us too do that well in the first test. In fact I mentally prepared myself for going into this series 1-0 down and having to fight hard for a drawn series.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, please - and another well done to Biltong. You outplayed us in the Test match, no two ways about it. What was frustrating, though, was watching the English bowling attack bowl wide of off stump for hour after hour, then lo and behold, Philander comes in, bowls wicket to wicket and forces Cook to play. Wicket to wicket was always my mantra. You miss, I hit.

Bit weak though isn't it Hoog? I do fancy trying it mind.
