Roland Garros - Day 10 - Page 3 Empty Roland Garros - Day 10

Post by bogbrush Mon 04 Jun 2012, 9:56 pm

First topic message reminder :

Thought I'd take my turn.

Djokovic v Tsonga.

Could stretch Noles nerves, as he'll have the crowd very much against him, which he's been known to be a bit funny about. Djokovic in 4.

Federer v Del Potro.

Fed may approach this with more confidence than he would have Berdych, as he seems to have been owning JMDP this year. Then again, he did him up like a kipper at AO 2009 and was lucky to get past him at the French. The cold damp conditions may help Del Boy too. However I think Federer will move the big man around more than he likes. Fed in 4, maybe 5 though I think it may be one of those annoying matches where he looks weak.

Do I have to do the Womens? No, I should;

Cibulkova v Stosaur

Stosaur. In 3 interminable sets.

Errani v Kerber

I have no idea who these people are.

It's just not to be for Roger today. He may as well start preparing for the grasscourt season.

Fed in deep trouble, you have to say DelPo deserved that TB, he was playing the more enterprising tennis. Tsonga with a nice hold from 15-30 down to lead 4-3. Crucial set this Very Happy

There's no power in Feds game, no mixing up, instead of running down Delpo, he is engaging in silly rallies. He should give it up quickly and go home and get ready for W.

I would've done the same as Fed though. The French really showing themselves to be the most retarded fans in the tennis world, though Eurosport has them as the most intelligent.

If Fed is going to go, he's going to go fighting down, I think Fed has no choice but to raise his game or otherwise his RG is over.

Break for Fed.

His serve is not working, at 51% thats no good in this level of game.

Now Fed will take this set quickly, Delpo will relax then gun him down on next set.

Conditions look faster then previous match and Fed should be flying Crying or Very sad

There's very little in this match.

All it will take for it to turn around is a slight blip from DP - I don't think he can sustain the form of the first two sets for much longer

Considering Del Potro has been Federer's whipping boy this season, who can begrudge him his two sets.

It will also be good to have an in-form Del Potro challenging for a berth in the top four echelon.

Rain around 20:00 local so roughly two hours remain. He should try and finish it today.
