Chickens starting to come home to roost already. Going to be some tough seasons ahead for the Mecca of Valleys Rugby now their subsidy from Cardiff is drying up.

34-8 this topic peaked my interest a bit and I had to look it up.
I think Stone Motif hit the nail on the head. Cardiff Blues have stated they won't be paying for players for their Premiership clubs anymore which is going to take about £200k off Pontypridd in terms of player wages.

Who complained about this thread? It's a choice of two, but one seems rather quiet nowadays.

I guess the result didn't happen then, if it warranted a complaint?

Ponty will be ok, seeing as they are the representatives of every Welsh valley. They'll never be short of players.

Good to see three of the four Gwent clubs doing well though. Lyp will be happy. Three cheers for Gwent. Hip hip.
