The 606v2 Fleaflicker Fantasy American Football League

First topic message reminder :

Hey everyone,

I've decided to create a fantasy NFL league for this forum. I've created the league on the site fleaflicker.com. Some of you may wonder why I haven't created the league on nfl.com or espn, but I have used all three of these sites and although fleaflicker isn't the best looking, it definitely has the best features and is a fantastic site to start a fantasy league on.
The draft for this league will not be for a long time so there's no rush, I currently have it set to September 3rd but that may change. I think early September is good because it gives a lot of time for the lockout to be resolved.

If you're interested, go on http://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/ and search for the league "606v2" in the "join a league" section, it should come up (you'll have to create a free account on there first, please use the same name as on here if possible). The password for the league is "lockout". If you haven't got a clue how to play fantasy American football then feel free to post on this thread or on the message board that is on the league site itself.

If you've never played before and you're unsure then I would urge you to try it, it is seriously good fun, especially the draft, and it adds meaning to games that do not involve your favourite team.

I'm very happy with my draft, deep at WR and RB, if you guys looking for a RB are interested in giving up an elite TE/QB then I'd be up for a trade.

Week one in the bag, 6 out of the seven games were won by division 1, interesting. Pleased with my win.

Off to a good start, I think Pr4wn forgot about this league as he had Arian Foster and Lance Moore in his starting line up.

Yeah totally slipped my mind with my three other fantasy teams on NFL.com.

It wouldn't have made a difference as your best team wouldn't have gotten enough points to beat me, but you may want to try to remember it for next week.

Looking for a WR to trade for one of my RB's, perhaps not elite level but a no.2 WR would peak my interest. Looking to trade away James Starks or Darren Sproles btw.

I'm interested in Starks but not sure I have what you want at WR, Britt and Desean are too good.

Beanie Wells/Ryan Matthews are available for trade, but has to be for an RB of roughly equal quality who doesn't have a bye week in week 5 or 6.

Sorry CF but there are not spaces left in this league and it doesn't make sense to expand it again with the draft already having taken place, but if any owners drop out we can let you know. You may have to wait for next year though when we can create more leagues to meet any increase in demand.

Shouldn't be an issue for you this week it's: Mark Sanchez, Jason Snelling, Miles Austin, James Jones, Santonio Holmes, Heath Miller, Jason Hanson and the Ravens, against Aaron Rodgers, Matt Forte, Danny Woodhead, Brandon Lloyd, Julio Jones, Deion Branch, Vernon Davis, Olindo Mare and the Steelers. You're currently projected like a 35 point win, I know you could do better if you replaced Lloyd and Jones but that would just be unnecessary. You should click on "can't remember your password" and put your email address in, should send you a new one then you can change it.

In the battle of the Commish's Team Tebow come out on top and both now have a 4-4 record. Despite me being 4-0 at one point, I blame you Andre Johnson!

Yeah the commish-bowl was a pretty close matchup, 40 points from the Lions defense certainly helped me! I think the scoring system may be slightly off

I hadn't even really looked at who scored well for your team but that is ridiculous! The scoring looks fine to me they just had a massive week against your starting quarterback Tebow.

Cherries have you tried to log in using your email address instead of your user name? From my experience I have found that when it doesn't let you log in and you go for the "Forgot my password" option then you should enter the email address you registered with and not your user name.

Blimey just took a proper look and we have 10 teams on either 5-3 or 4-4, looking like it's anyones game to get into the playoffs.

Rivers interceptions cost me the game and send me to 4-5.

Ouch, that's close, unlucky. Thankfully I won though and have moved to 5-4!

Well unless James Jones can pull an amazing 40.8 fantasy points performance out of the bag it looks like Dave Grohl is Jesus will be picking up his first win of the season despite having Josh Freeman, Felix Jones and Joseph Addai starting. Was yesterday opposites day in America? The Ravens defense picked up 4 points for 1 sack, yet the Patriots got 21 points.

Need Rivers and Matthews to score 7 more points than Tolbert and I should have a spot in the play offs.

What happens now that some teams have no more games? Can those players be traded for or are they now out of the league?

AdZacO (AzacO's under dogs) and Cherriesfan (TJax aint a TJoke) both win their divisions with records of 10-3, and get a bye into the semi-finals.

The winner of LT56 vs No Punt Intended will play AzacO's under dogs, and the winner of Rookies vs Derby Rams will play TJax aint a TJoke.

Consolation:
TheBrownTown (Team Tebow) and Lowlandbrit (Carry Hungry Hippos) both have a first round bye after coming fourth in their divisions.

The winner of The Mighty Cards vs The Colt McCoys will face Team Tebow, and the winner of Bambam's Dream Team vs Dyslexia Untied will face Carry Hungry Hippos.
