The 606v2 Fleaflicker Fantasy American Football League

Hey everyone,

I've decided to create a fantasy NFL league for this forum. I've created the league on the site fleaflicker.com. Some of you may wonder why I haven't created the league on nfl.com or espn, but I have used all three of these sites and although fleaflicker isn't the best looking, it definitely has the best features and is a fantastic site to start a fantasy league on.
The draft for this league will not be for a long time so there's no rush, I currently have it set to September 3rd but that may change. I think early September is good because it gives a lot of time for the lockout to be resolved.

If you're interested, go on http://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/ and search for the league "606v2" in the "join a league" section, it should come up (you'll have to create a free account on there first, please use the same name as on here if possible). The password for the league is "lockout". If you haven't got a clue how to play fantasy American football then feel free to post on this thread or on the message board that is on the league site itself.

If you've never played before and you're unsure then I would urge you to try it, it is seriously good fun, especially the draft, and it adds meaning to games that do not involve your favourite team.

We don't have a deadline for when trades can stop or anything to stop them cutting their players but personally I think it's better to stick it out with how your team is at the moment.

A 100% coach rating wasn't enough for Thunder and Lightning (No Punt Intended) losing by less than 2 points to Asdral225 (LT 56), my Derby Rams fell well short of Dominic Dicoco and the Rookies. Congratulations to everyone who has made it to the second week of the playoffs.

Congrats to Azacs Underdogs for winning the league. I had a pretty decent score in the final, but was no where near winning.

Have you any plans to keep the league going next year, if so is it an option to turn it into a keeper league.

Asdral we could do if the majority are happy with it, anyone else have any ideas for the league? Personally I would like the flex to be changed from RB/WR to RB/WR/TE.

All 14 places are taken up, but we can make up a second fleaflicker league and maybe move some people over?

So, are we still doing this one or not?

Just set the draft for 7:30 PM on Sunday 26th August. If people don't give feedback about the time or date then it definitely won't change.

Also the Flex position is now RB/WR/TE.

Could the time be bought forward by an hour and half to 6. I have two more drafts later in the day starting at 9 it would give me breathing space between our draft and the other two.

Possible times:
4pm
6pm
7:30pm

Would people prefer the Draft order based off last years record, randomised by FleaFlicker or me?

4pm and I would prefer a randomised draft

Not fussed about time, randomised is best for order though

When I get onto a computer I'll change the draft to 4pm and a randomized draft order, will then snake throughout.

Are we replacing the inactives or hoping they show up?

The order in which they'll be replaced:
1st Miket281017
2nd Sambazz
3rd Pr4wn

If you're one of them and want to stay in the league then say so, if you want to replace one of them before the draft at 4PM on Sunday the 26th then say so quickly.

If none of them are staying in, and no one wants to replace them are we changing to a 12 team league?

Yeah if nobody has replied by midday I'll get rid of two inactives and change it 12 teams, sorry for the poor organisation of the league.

Don't really have time to sort out any rankings so may make some dodgy decisions if I make it to the live draft.

Just a suggestion, you could ask niner if he is willing to be the 12th player if we take out all 3 inactives? He hasn't been able to join the NFL.com leagues so just an idea

Doubt it, not really thought through when the draft will be.

haha, I meant next week, I'd be expecting a lot if it were to be today.

Who is the other commish, I'd imagine he would be around 5-10 mins before the draft so I could maybe join just beforehand

It's TheBrownTown, if he shows up then hopefully you'll be able to join in, but he hasn't been that active recently.

Just make sure one of you takes a flier on Josh Morgan and Doug Martin later in the draft
