Now I know what you are thinking; what kind of dream match is this? However, it makes perfect sense from a character and storyline standpoint.

Zeb Colter stands center-ring alongside Jack Swagger and Cesaro. He is delivering one of his rants about illegal immigrants and being a real American. This week's promo is very scathing on the people in the arena. They are about to deliver their "We the People" line when familiar music hits and out comes...Kurt Angle.

Angle is peed off that Swagger and Cesaro call themselves real Americans. Angle talks about what makes this country great. He asks them what they did to prove to be real Americans? He won a gold medal with a broken fricken' neck! Angle is tired of their ramblings and wants one of them right now.

This leads to an impromptu match between Angle and Jack Swagger. Many people throughout the years have made the comparison between Swagger and Angle. Both wear singlets. Both have Amateur backgrounds and styles. Both have that "American" theme and both use Ankle Locks as finishers. Some say that Swagger was supposed to be WWE's answer to Kurt Angle and this series allows this match to happen.

After both men go back and forth and the Ankle Lock is attempted by Swagger, Angle rolls through sending Swagger into the turnbuckle. Angle follows it up with the Angle Slam. He locks in the Ankle Lock of his own forcing Swagger to tap out. Angle can't celebrate though as Cesaro jumps him after the match.

The Real Americans issue Angle a two-on-one beatdown. Colter is barking orders in the background when a bullet sound is heard in the background. Gunner charges the ring and helps Angle clear the Real Americans from it. Gunner grabs a mic and follows up on what Angle was saying about being a real American. Gunner talks about being a Marine and defending every American. He defends their right to speech, and their freedoms. He is sick of Cesaro and Swagger dishonoring what he has fought so hard for.

Gunner challenges the Real Americans to a tag team match. It will be the Real Americans vs Kurt Angle and Gunner. The Real Americans accept.

Not only does this face-off put Angle and Swagger together but it also brings the patriotic theme to the forefront. These four have that "American" character that can be tapped into for this storyline. Angle and Gunner are evidence of what America is. Plus, having Angle and Cesaro in the same match has no limits.

And of course this is likely to happen with Angle and Gunner SIGNED TO TNA!!!!

Angle is already stating he wants a last WWE run once his current contract is up although WWE medicals and wellness may scupper any chance he has although he'd be perfect v Swagger or DB.

Didnt he say he wanted to feud with HHH?

He's been saying that for years though, every report I've heard whenever Angle's contract has come up suggest It's WWE who have rebuffed him, rather than the other way around
