Quite simple post your top 15 lists, a placing of number one gets 15 points all the way to one point for 15th.

I did this a while back and Truss refused to acknowledge him because he didn't win a world title , Azania had Duran in the top 10 twice.

Do people use the eyeball test when making these lists? If so, what criteria do you apply to someone like Greb?

Looks like Deon Wilder is well on his way to those lists. Another few years of fighting stiffs and he'll have the numbers. Just needs to win a belt and fight more stiffs then when he's 100-0 retire the greatest ever.

I didn't even know Wladimir and Vitali were brothers.

Not thought about this for a while, but here goes:

Ask again in an hour and I'll have changed my mind. I'm not overly comfortable with Fitzsimmons that high and Langford that low as I think that given the opportunities denied to him, Langford would have surpassed Bob.

I'm comfortable with the top 5 but more and more open to the idea that Robinson, Greb and Armstrong are interchangeable.

I can't remember what I had for breakfast never mind come up with the 15 greatest fighters of all time. WereI to do so mayweather would be in it and Louis would be fringing, which I guess is the point of the exercise.

How can you put Mayweather above fighters like Leonard or Duran? They fought great fighters at their best way better than anything Mayweather fought. He fought worse fighters and usually waited until they were past it or didnt face them at all. Its no comparison. Duran and Leonard fought in a tougher era against better fighters. Leonard beat Duran, Hearns and Hagler ffs.

There's no way Leonard could have beaten an old, part-time De la Hoya any more decisively. A split decision was legendary stuff. Only beaten by his monumental win over Ricky Hatton - who was like P4P (he nearly won the P4P belt actually did Ricky - who was basically like a Duran only he wouldn't have lost to Hearns or Laing 'n sh**).
