It's time to vote for the 606V2 POUND FOR POUND Top 15 rankings.

Rules:
-Only 1 post per 606 member.
-Only active fighters allowed (must of fought in the last 18 months unless officially retired eg Shane Mosley)
-Outlandish listing’s will be DQ.
-A fighter needs two individual votes to have his points included.

Principles:
Your Top 15 should be based as at the current point in time.

Point Scoring System:
Quite simple, #1 scores 15 points, #2 scores 14 points etc… I will tally up the totals by the deadline date and will present the results.

Here's mine. Mayweather still up the top for his fight against Cotto at Cotto's weight. JMM moves up one as he put a great account of himself in against Manny, who slips down despite "losing" against Bradley - would be handedly beat by JMM should they fight again.

Martinez drops in favour of Ward due to inactivity plus Ward is the No.1 Super Middle (Carl Froch's win also makes him rise slightly).

Alvarez is in as he past the test against Mosley, he's looking strong and in is willing to take the big fights (would love to see him against Cotto!). Would have rated Gamboa higher, again inactivity see's him in at 10.

She's done alright for herself she can't complain.

With proper butter none of that margerine carry on.

This is just becomming harder and harder to complete the list and it's starting to mean less IMO. Between inactivity, quality (or lack of) of opposition and robberies make the list less meaningful imo but here it goes anyway

Kazuto Ioka just misses out along with Rigondeaux. In 3 or 4 years time I think Ioka will be top 5 he's a top prospect and fighting for titles after 7 fights.

Last time this was done I was really looking for Roman Gonzalez, Koki Kameda and Kazuto Ioka to press on and earn a place but none have as of yet. That could change on the 20th when Ioka is back in action, he could be really special and I hope he gets a bit more coverage than Ricardo Lopez did down at Minimumweight.

Donaire still top of the tree for me, I'll say it again that he hasn't achieved as much as the others like Mayweather, Marquez or Pacquiao but right now I feel he is a better fighter. I've gone for a few entries like that who are perhaps a bit unproven to some extent in Broner and Rigondeaux but I really do feel these guys are better than some of the more high profile names but the resume isn't there yet.

A few names could very well change around on any given day depending on how I'm feeling and there really isn't much between a lot of them.

I think ioka will find it hard breaking into the top 5 lists down at minimum weight. He is a real talent and is due to win his 2nd title in only his 10th fight but looking at past fighters it looks like it will be a struggle. Wonjongkam only managed about 8 on anyone slits despite ages at the top and segura had to beat Calderon a 2nd time to break the top 10.

Rigondeux and Guerrero at my favourites to make an impact as both haven't really had a lot of chances, for one reason or another. Guerrero was set to fight Maidana who he would have beat easily and now fights aydin in July after injury.
Lara and Rigondeux are both super talented and could well be #1 at there respective weight classes but might not get a chance to show it

Ioka is a big lump at minimumweight he won't be there much longer. He's 5ft 5 I can see him going as high as bantamweight years down the line.

how can manny be ahead of bradley after losing to him. unless of course you arent swayed by a poor decision. then of course manny must be behind marquez?? not sure manny fans can have it both ways here

Pound for pound doesn't mean you move ahead of someone if you beat them, overall pacquiao has the better recent record out of himself, Marquez and Bradley so has every reason to be above them.

I'm pretty certain p4p means, weight etc being equal who would beat who.... so surely Pacquaio has to be behind one of Bradley or Marquez then?

In my opinion Marquez cause the results should of been the other way round.

bradley has the better recent record doesnt he? he beat pacman and alexander in two of his last 3 fights. pacman has lost to bradley and beat marquez and an old mosley. unless you dismiss the judges and give pacman the win over bradley of course. but in that case maybe marquez has the best recent record. it depends how recently you base your record on. i see most people have left hopkins out so they cant be going back too far.
