Carl Froch Loaded Gloves Conspiracy

"Lucian has lost the fight, Froch deserves the victory, we would not return it. But a question comes to mind since the end of the fight: why Froch did not remove his gloves in the ring? He usually does. After fighting against Andre Ward, Glen Johnson, Mikkel Kessler, Andre Dirrell, Jean Pascal, etc. ... Saturday, he even made the post-fight interviews with his gloves! Another detail that reminds me a lot in recent days, it is the meeting I had with an inspector who brought us the gloves before the fight. The man came into our dressing room, he gave me the gloves, then turned to leave. I told him he should not leave the glove unattended and I added that I hoped it was the same in the other locker room ... Understand me, I'm not looking a reason to defeat Lucian and I did not intend to shout on the fly. Some people have said how did a fighter who hasnt stopped anyone since a shot Jermaine Taylor with 14 seconds to go suddenly pull off a TKO like this in 5 rounds. Others just said Bute is chinny. Doubt we will ever fight out though

innocent until proven otherwise. shame not all fighters are given this treatment though

im sure they are just trying to put a bit of doubt into frochs victory so they can make people a bit more curious about the rematch, and help sell it

Some people were outraged when Floyd came out first because he wasn't the champ. But their is so much jealousy when it comes to Floyd a lot of people struggle to give a fair opinion on him.

Personally I couldn't care less what order they come out in they are both going to the same place.

It is a little surprising how powerful Froch seemed, but I think it is more to do with the fact that he just started really quickly and jumped on bute, who never got a chance to get going

= lots of shots landing flush.

Froch doesn't strike me as the type to try something like that.

Maybe, just maybe, it was the repeated and unanswered shots to the head that did the damage? If you're getting hit that much by any super middleweight you're gonna get stopped.

There could be some truth to this story actually. Froch isn't that big a puncher at world level and surpirsing how powerful he was for just one fight. Also the fight was held in Nottingham so he might have had some home "advantages".

The guy got knocked out by Andrade, his chin is the problem, you can't just blame loaded gloves, froch hasn't got one punch power but has heavy hands, always has. Bute got caught flush alot, anyone would go down from those shots. I also think that his low hands defence meant when he was caught he was caught well as his gloves wouldn't block/slow down the punches

I don't think he is chinny and I don't think Froch had loaded gloves. As for Andrade that looked as much down to exhaustion as Andrades punches although Andrade isn't feather fisted. Not many fighters could take the amount of punches he did from Froch. A chinny fighter wouldn't have been made it to the 5th round.

His reaction to getting hit is more of the problem a bit like Wladimir Klitschko before he smartened up.

Somebody has asked froch about this on twitter and his response was his gloves were loaded with hands of stone and dynamite, I don't think it's going to bother team froch too much.

I dont belive McCracken and Froch are the type to do this at all. Bute was simply outclassed and not at the level that Froch has been fighting at. Hence he got outclassed.
