What Weight Are You and Who Would You Face?

First topic message reminder :

A bit of Tuesday fun:

You need to state your weight and height and then state which of the active boxers today would you face in your division if you had to? Doesn't matter if you think you'll either knock them out or get pummelled (think this is more likely in most cases!) but let's make it funny!

I'm 5 ft 8" and a chunky boy. After a bit of a struggle I can make the 200lb Cruiser limit. I'll take that pesky Denis Lebedev. How dare he knock out RJJ? I'll show hi-.....

It does have it's benefits. When I moved house my Mum made my Dad and my little brother come up and do the moving for me because of my back. Although I have always been her favourite.

There is nothing MANLY about weightlifting.

i'm 5"6/7 and would fight at light welter or boil down to lightweight; i'd take on khan, marquez or morales for the money and love the chance to try and ko kevin mitchell

5"8 on a good day. About 165lb but struggle to keep weight on. Think i'd think big & call out PBF, though i'd get my mam to organise it at a catchweight. Trouble is i'd end up windmilling then either quickly get ko'd or lose patience & do a full on charge & over the ropes with him!

I'm told Jean Pascal is the worst LHW champ ever so I'd have a pop at him maybe.

My first fight since 1978. Yoga twice a week is probably not the best preparation either.

It's a subjective scoring system, judges just seemed to prefer height. Nowadays the guys look worse if you ask me. Just as cut but the proportions are stupid.

I'm about 5'9 and a bit under 10 stone. I'd like to deck Devon Alexander, I don't know why but I hate that man, no way would I take a fight in Missouri though.

Sven Ottke for me, i would take him in Germany. When we went to touch gloves i would have given him an Ortiz, two feet off the ground headbutt. If that didn't finish him off, when he went to complain to the ref i would give him a Mayweather, bang. The crowd would probably still be sitting in silence as they only know to make noise when their fighters arms move.

I was pondering this only last week after weighing myself (trying to shift a few pounds)

I'm guessing this was aimed at me? Was just a little joke Trussman. I have no doubt you have the physique of a demi-God. Nonetheless, comparing yourself with a pro-bodybuilder's competition stats when said man is 4 inches shorter than you probably doesn't do that much to back up your claims.

To get back on topic, I'm a Trussman-esque 6 foot and 210 pounds. Puts me just above cruiser. Although, unlike my Olympian friend, I would have to admit that I'm carrying a bit of timber. While I'd currently be able to comfortably make cruiser, I guess if I was a pro-boxer I'd get down to light-heavy. As for who I'd fight, frankly, I'd get my *ss handed to me whoever it was. Might push for Roy Jones though, given how he's faded. I'd still get beaten up, just not so badly, and at least he's an all-time great.

6'2, 175lbs of a lean athletic machine. Prefer intense interval training as opposed to bulking up and having zero fitness to go with it
