Another hype train derailed.

J'Leon Love a member of Mayweather promotions was koed last night by little known Rogelio Madina in round 3.
Apparently Mr Love was a fight away from gaining a shot at the title.

I never liked this guy's chances after his fight with Gabriel Rosadio. Gab was robbed pure and simple but J'Love got away with it. He has been hyped to the hilt but has never looked like a top contender. Some of his performances have been less then impressive.

He has skill and can box but only when facing an opponant who wont throw back or press. Its another embarrising defeat for Money May who is looking for someone from his stable to take over the mantle of box office star.

May want to rethink his career after such a BRUTAL ko by the Mexican. Madina is one to watch by the way.

And why was you shocked? He has skill like I said but for me it was only a matter of time before he was decked. I see Degale doing a number on him and Groves would likely ko him.

Btw when Medina koed him J'Love was shaking something horrible. It was a sight to see his mum (i think) screaming like that. Still he will have to rethink his career or mayne leave Mayweather. I don't see Mayweather as a great trainer

Well simply i was shocked as i thought he would win simple as that and the reason i dont like hype train is because some fans use it everytime a fighter loses a fight the hype train word comes out and makes it seem just because a fighter loses he is suddenly terrible and over rated.

Great punch for the knock out but the referee should have been in before anymore punches were thrown. It was obvious that Love was gone.

He was in the Money Team - ergo... he was a superstar in waiting

Love has been riding on the back of Mayweather for a long time. He was an accident waiting to happen in the ring.

No. Not once have I seen his name mentioned as a potential opponent for Froch, Ward, Golovkin, Groves or anyone actually.

That's because they are being protected like little girls. Being around Mayweather does not make you talented

That's the thing with Josiah - never know whether he's being ironic or just thick. Or a bell.

Don't even think Dave had blacklisted Love for one of his hype train rants yet, which shows there was never really any hype train at all. Just about everyone I've ever conversed over Love with (the fighter, not the emotion which I'd love to converse with you guys about on the off-topic section if any of you fancy it?) felt that the only reason he received any attention at all was because he clings on to Mayweather like a Koala bear does its tree.

He'll probably be afforded more chances to bounce back as long as Floyd's still around, but if anyone ever seriously expected great things from him then they're going to be disappointed. Reckon most felt that way in any case even before this setback.

Always good to see karma catch up with a fighter. The last few performances from Love have been awful and he was exposed badly against Rosado who got shafted in that fight. Glad to see Love get mopped up before he had a chance to fight for a title and have that chance to potentially nick one with help from the judges due to his connections.
