You make a good point, Aus might be missing the Poo in Pooper is there is a citing, but unlike Scotland they have some strength in depth

Was this the clear out where the guy landed awkwardly? His legs were lifted up and he landed either on his shoulders or head - I can't remember the details.

Couldn't tell you, but I do remember seeing it at the time and thinking it looked dodgy. They didn't show any replays though.

Fearing the worst, if they both get banned it really will create a sense of injustice in the squad, which will only help their mentality for Sunday I suppose.

Losing Ford wouldn't be a complete disaster - Brown has been pretty good, although I'm not overly confident about Bryce's impact off the bench.

Losing Jonny would be catastrophic though - Swinson is a big step down in quality, and it would mean Denton, Struass or Wilson covering 2nd row.

Thought Tiny Tim had actually player quite well and (whispers) not 100% convinced Ickly J has been that great so far - not terrible, but not great

ESPN were alluding to this 'blueprint' that stops the wallabies. Yes it's the rush defence and choke tackle. Stop them from scoring tries and you're chances of beating them increase tenfold. I think Scotland have the personnel to do that. But it will take a lot more than that to win and I'm not so sure Scotland have the capabilities to do so against this Wallabies team.

I disagree Mikey, I think Scotland have a bit more flair and guile than the current Welsh crop, but I would bet my mortgage that the Welsh and English defense for that matter is much better organised and robust than Scotland's.

If they can score against 13 men then yes they certainly do!

If Scotland can emulate the 'blueprint' then who knows? It should also be noted that Aus have a good defence themselves, so scoring a try past them is also difficult. Three tries held up when you're down a player or two should be highly commended!

Also, both players probably weren't aware of each other's individual actions - would it have been so bad if Gray had lifted the leg at without Ford being there? That is a fairly standard ruck clear out.

The combination of both made it bad, but by the look of it neither knew what the other was doing...

We don't have a good record of doing well with the disciplinary panel, if only JG had kneed him on the way down we would be ok.

One thing that sometimes is taken into account is the person was always in contact with the ground - so no 'lifting and dropping'

Well putting my Scottish legal team head on it:

- Neither player could possible have been aware of what the other was doing
- Both individual actions weren't outwith the realms of a standard ruck clear out
- It was an unfortunate coincidence that both things happened at the same time
- Neither player deliberate intended for that to happen - there was no malice in their actions
