Right guys, here is the task:

First, I want you to name your teams and give me sound reasoning as to why you have chosen that name. I don't want to hear silly names like 'Team Januzaj the diver' or 'Team Scholes the greatest player ever'. I want a name that you feel represents everything that is great about our game.

Second, you must elect a team manager. Choose wisely, choose effectively.

Finally, the meat of the task. Having dispensed with the veg, you will now sit down and craft me a vision for the future. The future of the global game. I want your teams to give me a strategy for FIFA. A blueprint to the improvement of our game. In 2015 there will be a vote on who will be the next leader of FIFA. I want your team to tell me what its plan would be. It can cover any aspect of football - business, grass roots development, profit sharing, anything - but you must limit ourselves to five points only. I also want an explanation of how you would practically go about implementing your five points, and how you would pay for them.

First things first, the team name. I get the feeling Azzy will be taking this into account when he decides a winning team.

Something football related, maybe 'passion', something that has drama and really defines the game. 'score', 'victory', there'll be that one word we find which is it.

We need a name.

How about "Team Hard Working Professionals with sensible haircuts who don't dive"
Or Team HWPWSHWDD

I prefer Team Professional, to celebrate those players who are prepared to put their foot in and scrap and rarely get the accolades of the show ponies

It's a nice idea but i don't think it's a good snappy team name to be honest

I get the meaning behind Team Competent but its kinda demeaning to us.

I can get behind Integrity as a counter to the corrupt and cheats in the game

For me the primary point would be restoring FIFAs credibility. To that end I would set up a new investigation unit, independent of FIFA but funded by FIFA, with any and all reports made public.

A transparant and honest FIFA would be able to win back sponsors, which would pay for this and then some imo

I agree with making things more public, like you say it is transparent and lets the people know why decisions are made.

I would also add that there needs to be a way decisions are made but kept to consistently, set bans for certain things for example.

I know but we need to think of more than this task. I guess integrity suggests a strong business with core values and such.

We need five points on how to improve fifa's image. I say we just brainstorm ideas, then pick the best ones.

Transparency is important for sure. We need ways to make them more transparent.

I suppose there is another interpretation you could have which is winning an election. It might be worth seeing what we can do as vote pleasers.

The other thing is azzy mentions paying for whatever we want to do. We need to look at how fifa is currently funded and how we can fix that.

I would like to add consistency to the ideas list, it's one of the most important things for me. When I say consistency I mean with all decisions relating to bans, appeals etc etc.

That also counts for reviewing incidents etc.

Yeah okay that sounds good to me. Trying to put together a sfratgy for winning this task:

Look at the current campaigns, what are the people standing saying that they want to do.
Look at the fifa website and see what information i can find about money, policies etc.

Once we've put the information together with out brainstorming, write up two ideas each, take the best five and dubmit that.

I don't really get the funding thing. FIFAs sitting on its own mini Vatican , they aren't remotely cash limited.

Goal Line Technology would be one for me.

Grassroots seems more of a national FA thing for me.

Also remove the law that FAs cant review incidents if the ref noticed

Can you and Miky look at all the candidates and see what they stand for?

How about pushing the entire world cup qualifying to the summer before the world cup

One thing that Figo is proposing is larger world cups meaning more entrants.

Yeah I'm not really for that. The Euros shows its better to have fewer teams with more meaningful games.

Can you take half the candidates each and give me the main points of what they want to do? We need a campaign better than theirs

Fifa website needs to be looked at, scan through for funding, any general information. I'm happy to do that.

Ginola, Champagne, Luis Figo, Blatter, Prince Ali. What do they all want to do?

The World Cup is the showpiece event, and I think at least two of our points should be related to that. Does someone want to look into that?

If we can get these three things sorted for Friday, then get a couple more points done then we should be fine for the deadline on Monday.
