Tactics will be posted tonight at home as I am only on phone access at the moment and it will be quicker to do it there.

Bordeaux:

Bordeaux 2 vs 0 Verona – Bordeaux default win as there were no tactics from Verona.

Basel:

Montpellier:

Basel 0 v 1 Montpellier

                   (Bellarabi)

Basel prepared very well for a tough game against a strong Montpellier Side however Basel are able to get their game going in short spells with some chances early on but Montpellier are just too strong with the pair of Clasie and Pirlo controlling the midfield and keeping things ticking over which eventually leads to Montpellier getting a goal through Bellarabi who cuts inside on the edge of the box and curls one into the top corner.

PAOK:

Granada:

PAOK 1 v 1 Granada

(Mandzukic)     (Sanchez)

PAOK get at Granada well in the early stages and manage to get a goal through Mandzukic when he manages to make an early run into the box to slot one in. When possession turns over late on in the match, it leads to Granada getting forward extremely quickly leaving Clyne and Bernat out of position down the wings due to them pushing forward. The immediate blitz attack style from Azzy really shows here and the pressure gets too much for PAOK which allows Xavi to play a beautifully weighted pass through to Sanchez in which he manages to get in behind and slot home for  the Equaliser.

Twente:

Genk:

Twente 0 v 0 Genk

An extremely even game making it a tough one to call with Genk having Schweinsteiger and Mason to protect the defense and Trebs opting to not allow Rakitic time on the ball which ultimately will make it difficult for him to get forward to support the attacks as instructed by Hero. Hazard has been instructed by Hero to get at the full backs and cut inside which plays to his strengths and is a huge part of his game however Trebs has instructed his full backs well to stand off and look to show him the outside rather than allow him to cut inside, this ends up being a very entertaining 0-0 draw with 2 quality sides battling it out.
