Scott Quigg out until summer

Scott Quigg has had hand sugery and will be out until the summer. He was supposed to be fighting in March however this isnt happening now. His career seems to be stagnating and will be even more so now

If March was just a TBA type of opponent then I don't think the effect on his career will be too great, so long as he has a meaningful fight in the summer.

Hopefully that won't scupper a Frampton fight. Frampton was planning to fight Chris Avalos in Feb/Mar and then Quigg in the summer.

Don't see him going straight into frampton after a lay-off. It will give him a handy opportunity to take another warm up. Get rid of ring rust, tune-up blah blah.

Frampton quigg looking like autumn/winter now if it happens.

Ahhh man...yeah nobody cares about this guy apart from Joe Gallagher and himself.

Fights nobodies and is now out for longer.

Wish it was until the Summer of 2020 so we could all forget about this over rated hype job.

Fights Martinez, LSC, Frampton or Rigo and not random Japanese pub workers or washed up binmen.

I do think quigg gets a bit of a rough ride. I don't think it's him that doesn't fancy the big fights. I honestly believe he would take on anyone tomorrow (injury aside). He must be getting frustrated with it all as well.

Always hard to know whether the fighter is happy that the promoter is trying milk him for their mutual benefit, or whether he's frustrated that his promoter seems reticent to put him in with anyone who can actually fight. My guess is though, that quigg would fight anyone put in front of him.
