Wrestlemania 31 rumours

WWE has reportedly been working on finalising WrestleMania plans this week and those plans include The Rock and Sting.

WWE are thinking The Rock vs. HHH.

No confirmation yet on who may face Sting but HHH is thought to be Sting’s second choice for a match if the WWE can't temp Taker.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns is still the prefered WWE Title match. Another match that has been discussed is John Cena vs. Rusev.

Does this excite anyone?

Tbh Rock v HHH does excite me. That was the main rivalry when I first got into WWE. Not fussed about Sting at all. Brock vs Reigns is ok but maybe not blockbuster enough. Cena v Rusev = meh.

I think I'd rather see Reigns vs HHH and Bryan vs Lesnar. Couldnt care less about Sting. Dont mind the idea of Cena vs Rusev - although I would have to say the smart move would be to put Rusev over. Cena can be the first to beat him, but Rusev going over at Mania would be huge.

That said, I'd pay to see Rock vs HHH one more time. Both have proven they can still go, and they had great chemistry together. Wouldnt be a terrible move.

I highly doubt Roman Reigns will be going over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania next year, while I've no doubt he's very highly thought of within the WWE's top brass I don't think he's anywhere near that level yet and by the time he gets back again I dont thinkby the time these plans will be put in place (January time) that Reigns will bbe significantly improved enough to be a genuine threat to Lesnar.

I could see Reigns going over The Undertaker, Takers next match will be deemed huge due to him losing the last match, I think Reigns could be a very decent opponent, as Taker wouldn't be back to late Feb at the earliest it would probably give Reigns more time to fine tune his work.

either way, Daniel Bryan will be back around the same time as Roman Reigns and crowd reaction alone will kill Reigns compared to Bryan so thats another major reason I cant see Reigns get Lesnar

Rock vs HHH would be good, but i don't get the build up. Only thing i can think off is Lesnar vs Rock for the title at the rumble and HHH, Orton etc. screw rocky. 

Reigns vs Lesnar for the title, perfect.

Cena vs Rusev. Boring, but makes a bit of a sense.

Who knows how long Brock intends to stay in the WWE, but as he was the one to take the Streak and has become WWE champion I think he should have a monster run, beat everyone for the next couple of years and then give the rub to Reigns or whoever is the next top baby face of the company.

By the time WrestleMania comes around Roman Reigns will have been a singles wrestler for less than a year, I don't think thats anywhere near long enough to be the guy to beat Brock Lesnar

Haha fair enough, jus read the interview myself. Not going to be there in case he gets hit in the mouth apparently.
