Insects:
Angry funnel web got excavated today. Plus a few termites, ants and dozens of cucaracha. Seems the latter had migrated out under the pile of debris which is now in the Chullora waste depot. Snuck in a few scraps of asbestos (wrapped in black) into the bins. Feeling fine.
Cooking tips:
I'm having to ration my power points to cook. Strange locations but it all tastes good.
Action Netball:
Wha...?
Happy Birthday Jules and Dave.
Young Raf - I hear your Birthday is also approaching... or have you just had it? If so, I hope it all went well last night with your lady friend(s)
Jimi sends his best regards too!

Nice.
I had a Raf'esque cheese and leek quiche with green beans (no medley) and mashed sweet potato. Very southern and very camp.
Bread and butter pudding for dessert almost rescued the day for me.

Sorry Raf, can't help.
I either watch rugby, cricket, boxing, Game of Thrones or arthropod porn. That's about it.
Fixed that.
Hello Superfly. Welcome back.
Thanks, Tina. Anagrams? What has happened here? What have you all become?

Both reasonable questions Superfly. If I tell you anagrams represent a marked improvement on what was discussed yesterday, which I will forever remember as Black Monday, you get the picture.

Monday was a fantastic day, we discussed food, and eggs... or eggs for food.
Anagram Tuesday is a low, lower than the attempted intervention we never did quite pull off for Michaels
Had a chicken mayo sandwich, coupled with orange juice, and a mixed berry fruit medley.

Not enough Buckie in the world, Rick. What did help though is that my father-in-law seems to hate Germany with a passion and was getting increasingly upset during the 7-1 hammering of Brazil. I thought he was going to cry when the 4th goal went in. It was brilliant.

I adopted an extremely annoying air of wide eyed innocence and positivity that gave off the impression that I was far more neutral than I actually was. Lot's of "did you see that" and "remember when Luiz did [insert comedy howler] - what was he thinking?" Kept the act up during the rest of the holiday.

Much more gratifying than a Buckie stupour, and more socially acceptable... Even in Scotland! Well played.

Rowley wrote:I may have to join you Galted. Will be honest when you first mentioned v3 I had my doubts it actually existed, it all sounded too good to be true. However find it hard to believe you would still be going on about it were it not real, that would just be tragic.
Really disappointed in this place today. I was having a genuine crisis of confidence. How was this met, by Tina making a rather transparent attempt to make me talk about cooking. In the glory days you would have expressed my pain through the medium of bad EMO poetry. You cared.
Why won't you all leave Jeff alone
And his flatcapped folk up North
(from just beyond the Watford Gap
Up to the Firth of Forth)
They have it hard these northerners
Unlike us chaps down south
They forage from the day they're born
Whereas we get teat to mouth
They're hardy types these wildlings who
Thrive in their feral state
though It's unlikely that you'll find one who'll
live much past forty-eight
they scorn hummus and sushi
and poncy deli bread
They'll feed on dripping, bark and stones
And whippets and their dead
(But though they forage for their food
or lick it from a tin
It's a rarity for one to find
a northerner who's thin)
it's tough to have to live like them
two families to a bed
all bathing in the kitchen
and crapping in the shed
wearing trousers made of hessian,
as they sup on ale and mead
hobnail boots for four-year-olds
y-fronts made of tweed
and don't think they can't communicate
That all they do is groan
For in that guttural burping lives
A language of its own
so don't call one a "halfwit"
it would be an affront
not to mention "simpleton"
and "stupid northern c*nt"
I'll repeat my plea for all of you
to leave Proud Jeff alone
I doubt he's done you any harm
He just likes to gripe and moan
don't bother him with arthropods
however big or deadly
and don't mention action-netball or
a dish that starts with "medley"
