Wow that was poor from Ellie Golding. So hot though!

I think thats quite reasonable compared to some of the things id do if I had that money.

I would buy my own cheese farm.

The first thing that came to mind was force feeding people popping candy.

Id be tempted to buy an ice cream van and name it bad person Ice Cream with the slogans Suck My Lolly and Nibble My Flake on the side and just drive it around

Not really sure why Sam and Abi have stayed in and Kingsland Road have gone. But hey that's what happens in this show, people who can sing go home and people who can't stay in

So you don't think Abi can sing? Probably the most talented of the lot of them.

Abi sings the same way everytime. No tone.

It's annoying, her song wasn't disco in the slightest

That's the problem though when you have someone that already has their style which Abi has (Tori Amos floaty piano style). You wouldn't get Morrissey on and tell him he's got to do Nu-Metal or Krunk week.

The judges have got on others for being one dimensional though.

It's not just style, every song sounds identical, and not particularly good.

Sam is 100% the worst singer, i don't think he is good enough for live shows. Seems like a bit of a belle*d as well.

Abi is just boring, im not saying she is a bad singer, but to be a good singer you have to connect with the crowd etc and she doesn't do that.

Kingsland Road were ok, but Rough Copy are A LOT better.

I actually dont mind Abi theres some genuine talent there. Think when she did livin on a prayer and the one last night she was brilliant

that sam chap is just getting the female vote

Rough copy or Sam Bailey are the best two acts in it

Utterly pointless having these different styles. The fact remains that whoever wins is likely to churn out records that are pretty much the same every time with a slight tweak here and there.

May as well have DEATH METAL week and thrown the final two into a mosh pit with the one who energes unscathed through to the next round...Aztec throat warbling week!

abi was ok, but it was DISCO week, not another ballad week. I believe they have different themes, so they can see the contestants show off their atributes.

One direction finished third and are the biggest band in the world probably........

So why vote anyway..

She's still not sexy though. Bring back Danni Minogue, if only for her lovely attitudes.

Danni would undoubtedly end up questioning the sexuality of one of the contestants for a cheap laugh and have to offer a public apology

Do the bosses at X Factor intentionally ply the judges with alcohol before the shows as most weeks at least one of the judges appears drunk, usually Sharon but this week Shirtswinger looked several sheets to the wind.

Nicole looked hammered, Sharon looked as rough as a badger and if the rumours are true about her split with Ozzy, she may well be back on the bottle.

Either way, Gary Barlow can't leave soon enough. Maybe they could replace him with Gazza. "Fog on the Tyne" qualifies Gazza to have an opinion on what constitutes a hit record and he'll fit right in with the inane ramblings frm the judging panel.

I can see Gazza's acts now..all singing Jimmy Nail songs whilst dressed as a giant chicken carrying a fishing rod.

Simon will be back next year with the US version tanking

Sam lives to fight another day. Really don't know how he is rubbish.

Abi probably correct decision to go.

Rough Copy, Nicholas McDonald and Sam Baily to be the final 3 IMO.

Abi has no stage skills and can only sing 1 way. Had to go really.

I do think Sam B deserves to win at the moment, she has basically smashed pretty much every week so far.
My question is, regardless of whether she wins or not, will she sell records?  Big time I mean.

Anyone with decent songs will. That's what it comes down to. I expect she'll do a ballad album full of covers. I wouldn't bank on that selling too many.

I think all of them do this year to be honest, it's the worst batch by some distance.

Just watched the show, hate it when MOTD isn't on means i have to watch the X Factor hungover on a Sunday!

I actually thought Luke Freind was the best last night. Sam B and Rough Copy superb as always. 

Sam Callahan really has to go. I find Tamira very boring, wouldn't mind seeing the back of her.

Tamira and Sam C were awful lastnight and should be the bottom 2 but seeing how the voting has gone so far this series they probably wont be

Sam C is really cheesy, but the young girls will like him. Sam B was as good as ever. Not really getting rough copy tbh. Again, cheese.

Sam C rightfully gone. Comes across as a nice kid, and Gary's Comments were spot on. His best performance last night, he always took the tough comments on the chin like a man. 

I feel Luke will probably be next to go. A cool kid, good singer, but simply the standard is very high this year and there are a lot of strong contestants.

Plus he needs to wash his hair

the problem is: None of them can sing, and the show is dire..

Some are good singers to be fair, and Sam Bailey is better than good.

All the ones left can sing, slightly more than harsh.

Luke's probably the weakest vocalist left, but he has a nice edge to his voice

The charts isn't about how good a singer you are anyway. It's about good/catchy songs, or/and being good looking. Certainly in the pop sense anyway.

That's kinda why I don't think Sam B will win

Whilst not on X Factor, Susan Boyle was the product of the Simon Cowell hype machine and she made what can only be described as a f*****g fortune. There will always be a market for decent singers. Just because a bunch of teenagers aren't likely to listen to Sam's album, it doesn't mean they won't be buying it for their Mums for next Xmas.

And let's have it right, if I could sell half a million copies or more of an album and do a couple of gigs, the money I'd earn would buy me a nice house and if I had to go back to work for a few years then so be it.

If were judging the show pure on who has the best voice, without question Sam B is the best.

That said i still want Nicholas to win it.
