He was a belt holder for 2 years. Winchester means Wlad was the actual champion.

At`least you have one redeeming feature.

I have a soft spot for Arsenal. Their situation is so ridiculous what with their fans getting mugged off, you have to feel sorry for them.

He is a big strong heavyweight with lots of heart and I think he has a much better chance of beating the Klitschkos as he has the size and style to bully them. Haye wont beat Klitschko and I cant see him beating Wilder either. His fight against Klitschko was also unbelievably boring. Id much rather see Fury get in there and carry the fight to the Klitschkos than Haye being jabbed away at for the whole fight. Fury is the future.

Haye was heavyweight champion for 2 years.

There was another name in this list last week. It is on the tip of my tongue, but just can't recall it!

I feel Haye is the best of the rest. I can see Wlad retiring after a couple more fights leaving a spot for the 'man'

I was thinking the same thing, Winchester was all over Price a few weeks ago yet suddenly he seems to have forgotten about him since he lost twice in a row. No doubt when fury loses he will forget about him and just talk about Wilder until he loses too.

I said that I was wrong about Price and I even did an article about what went wrong for Price so clearly I havent forgot about it. Price needs more experience and to improve his stamina. He would not beat Fury, Wilder or Haye at the moment and his only chance against the Klitschkos would be to pour everything into trying to knock them out in the first 2 or 3 rounds. Maybe everyone who said Fury would not fight Haye and didnt take hard fights should accept they were also wrong?

do you think you could be wrong about fury and wilder being better than the klitschkos? or do you still think they both beat the klitschos if they faced them now?

If Fury murdered Haye half way through the fight, you would protest Fury's innocence because Haye punched him, right?

He'd probably also try to say Fury didn't 'follow' Haye to the ring....

Of course I could be wong. So can anybody. But I think Fury and Wilder would beat the Klitschkos. Price has the size, power and style to to beat the Klitschko but he lacks the stamina and exerience needed. Hiring Lewis was a mistake because Lewis will try and turn him into the way he fought which plays into the Klitschkos hands. Price should be aggressive and use his size to bully his opponents but he needs to improve his stamina and fitness. Otherwise the Klitschkos will just look to avoid him in the opening rounds and wait for him to tire.

I agree. After all, what does Lennox know about beating a Klitschko?

Oh, hang on...

I like Fury as a person and for that reason I would find it painful to watch him fight Wlad.
I mean, at least Haye would just KO Fury in the first few rounds. Wlad, on the other hand, would just torture Fury by peppering his face with heavy jabs for several rounds before knocking him out. The kind of pro-longed, sustained beating that can mentally and physically finish a fighter for good.
Wilder just looks so awkward and ungainly. Almost like he's going to trip over his own feet while attempting an Ali-shuffle. Will be interesting to see how he reacts when he fights a non-bum.

A slap on the ear permanently finished price so who knows, a quick ko could do the same to fury.

Yeah, Price was always glass-jawed though.
As a amateur he was decked by a teenage Fury, Camarelle was rocking him with every shot he landed in the 2008 Olympics and an Indian SHW decked him three times during a bout at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Feel sorry for Price. Nice guy but take away the his big right hand and there isnt much else to shout about.

That's what I've been saying and got roundly abused for it. Many here thought he was the second coming.

Talking of second coming I wonder how Mrs Thompson is getting on.

In the same way David Haye is black and it is fine to say that - but you can't say you dislike him because of it.

Hang on. Yes I can. I can't say he's a *whatever* because of it, but I can say I don't like him because of it. If I wanted to, I mean. Which I don't. But the example given looks misleading. Or draconian.

As for the OP, I agree with someone earlier; I like them both and don't really want either to lose.

Not the most popular opinion around here, but still.

But Wilder lacks experience the biggest named fighter he has beaten is audley harrisson.
