Jim Carrey in The Dead Pool – REALLY!

I don’t remember that much about The Dead Pool other than the demise of the drug addicted rocker near the film’s beginning. This isn’t surprising as it’s been over 20 years since I’ve last seen the film in its entirety. I recently caught a clip of that precise scene and was surprised to discover the rock star in question was played by Jim Carrey (or James Carrey as he appears in the credits). I guess James didn’t become Jim until the ‘90s, so it’s not surprising I didn’t recognise him the first time around – The Dead Pool being a film of the late ‘80s.

So my question relates to this: have you ever viewed a film for a second time, only to spot someone in there you missed the first time round?

Lee van Cleef in the Beast from 20,000 fathoms. When asked whether he could fire a grenade launcher firing a nuclear tipped grenade, he responds "I pick my teeth with them". His only line. I couldn't stop laughing!!

Watched Silence Of The Lambs again the other day, and only just realised the guy who played the bad guy (not Hannibal Lecter, the ladyboy) was the crazy brother of Mickey Rourke in Bullet. Should have known really with that distinctive voice.

If anyone hasnt seen it, then I highly recommend it. Great film which also stars Adrien Brody and the late great rapper / actor Tupac Shakur.

Joffrey from game of thrones is Gordon's son in Nolan's batman trilogy. Blew my mind when I first saw it after watching GoT!

The guy who played Joffrey was in Batman Begins though as a young child who sees Batman.

He is indeed, just a child. But, he does appear in 2 separate scenes- a particularly funny one where he gets face-palmed but a rogue police officer.
