Let me say this. Froch wins, TKO, in a war that matches the Hatton v Kosta bout for epicness.

What a war! Round 11 was immense. Froch really scared me the way he kept walking onto huge shots but only once did he look genuinely hurt.

I had it 117/111 and despite his herculean effort, don't really see an argument for Kessler winning this.

eddie hearn is a ++++ . ward outclassed froch with ease first time and then got a hand injury late on didnt he and allowed froch back in towards the end to pick up a few rounds. completely outbox froch again i reckon regardless of location. froch to open.

I have to say....in many ways Ward needs Froch more than Froch needs Ward....that sounds strange but when you take into consideration where else Ward goes, value for money against certain opposition, willingness to travel etc I think Ward kind of needs Froch.

It's the only fight that makes sense at Super Middle....and if Ward want's to attempt to become the PPV attraction he claims he want's to be and really push on (especially given his stall in past 12 months) then the way to do it is to show people he can go places other than Oklahoma/outside US and do the job.

Tonight's fight showed that Kessler really has lost a bit. His speed and more importantly his previous tremendous work rate just wasn't there. We saw in pockets how good his punching ability is and he was still able to slip punches but everything is just down a couple of notches.

To me he is more talented than Froch but tonight we have seen a fighter that has seen better days. I'd like to see Kessler take a farewell fight, an easy win. He's been an absolute credit to boxing over the years.

Can't imagine many Ward fans travelling over here and defo won't be more than Kessler drew over, and he has never fought outside of his area so the atmosphere like tonight's could really effect him. He beat Froch easily last time but it wasn't a 120-108 type drubbing and most people gave Froch at least 3 rounds so theirs deinately something for him to work on. Ward still wins but it'll be interesting

I don't particularly care for comments about fighters sliding when it comes to two fighters like this because it does do one boxer discredit. The fact is that part of boxing is longevity.....Froch has been in just as many if not more wars than Kessler has and he deserves praise for tonight, not comments on Kesslers decline.

Carl looks after himself 24/7 and his work in the gym and when away from camp has given him the ability to fight at this level much like Bernard Hopkins. For that people like himself deserve immense credit...after all keeping physical peak for a long period of time is just as much a skill as a jab!

Fair play to Froch for his tactics even though Kessler was clearly past it. Beat Kessler with a slow jab that Ward would be able to stop and laugh at before countering.

Hopefully that fight is next so we can see if Froch has improved or it was just the obvious regressing of Kessler.

That interview gives everyone the answer the straight away....Ward doesn't want the fight in the UK and in many ways you can't blame him. He is the number one guy in the division.....HOWEVER....boxing is about creating legacies and proving your the best even when others try to stack the deck...

Does Ward have to fight Froch in the UK of course he doesn't...would fighting him away from home in the oppositions back garden do his legacy and standing the world of good....YES...and more so than anything else out there at the moment.

Although Froch was thrilling tonight, he wasn't hard to hit and his speed hasnt improved.

Those wild attacks wouldn't touch Ward. The jab was sharp for the first few rounds, but then became well timed but lacking in snap. Ward still beats him.

As I said regardless of whether he has or hasn't lost a step the fact remains that the credit tonight should go to Froch who changed his game plan slightly from the first, used the jab more and more importantly showed that looking after yourself away from the ring, putting in an unprecedented amount of work even when out of camp goes just as far in making a boxer and helping a boxer as practicing your combinations on a punch bag.

Coming to the Uk and beating him would smash the perception of a fighter who always has home advantage.

We've still got no idea how Ward handles a hostile atmosphere, plus Carl fights better in the Uk.

So there's a lot of value in a rematch over here.

Hard to say isn't it... After 3 rounds I thought Kessler was shot... Could have been rust, could be the years catching up on him, could be that froch was just so sharp he made it look that way.

My feeling is maybe a little bit of all three.
