Said a while back that Ward's career will be blighted by injury and the "what if?" brigade will be out in full force when he eventually retires without ever having that "defining fight"

I feel for anyone who booked to go see this one. I imagine very few people had bought tickets after the Detroit setback.

he is champion in recess or whatever, so hopefully the WBC champion in a few months will be decent and will be a big fight when he returns. looking at the rankings bika is next in line and groves and degale are both top 5.
