Tyson Fury on Vitali
Hi guys,
I have just tweeted Tyson about the rumours that Vitali is going in for knee surgery, which in turn would pretty much retire him due to time out and his age.
I asked him:
His response (his mis-spelling not mine!)
Do you agree?

I asked him:
Tyson - would you be disappointed if the rumours of Vitali retiring soon are true? Would you feel like you missed out?

Tyson Fury @Tyson_Fury
@v2Journal no I'd say good riddons
Do you agree?
Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
It would make the division more exciting. Areola has pulled out of the WBC eliminator so if Vitali does retire Fury could fight the vacent belt.

I am a bit split on it Adam, not sure we should celebrate too loudly over one only two guys with anything approaching world class ability departing the division but on the flip side for as long as him and his brother are active we will never have an undisputed champion which would probably be the best thing the division could hope for.

Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
I'd say it is good riddons from Fury's personal viewpoint as it spares him from an embarrassing one-sided clobbering and gives him a realistic chance of claiming a world belt, but it is definitely not a case of good riddons from boxing in general.

I'd be delighted too..............
Such a stellar division...The greatest prize in sports..The dream people have died trying to attain..... being shared by a couple of Brothers just makes the sport look completely sad....
Just glad they haven't got a third brother at 6ft 7 and 250...............

I'm with you on that one Truss. Johnson was happy to stand on the outside and never commit himself, while Haye will be on the outside looking for an opening to exploit with speed and power.

Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
If Vitali did retire, surely Wlad would challenge for that belt at some point to become undisputed champion?
If that's the case Fury could keep the belt warm for a defence or 2.

Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
So Vitali is now having career ending operations just to avoid fighting Haye!! What a ducker!!
I think it would be good for Vitali to go now. If he is picking up injuries like this, it is time to let his body rest. With his brain, he can do lots more with his life and I would wish him well.

Vlad is the better brother IMO so be sad to see him leave what is currently a weak division anyway. Think Fury's showing a lack of respect really with his comment. If he was here now i'd give him a piece of my......

David Haye : "If I don't fight Vitali Klitschko that will be it. There is no other motivation. Even if he relinquishes his titles, it's who you beat to get them."
We can rule that out then.

Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
If Vitali retires (which I think he should), then Fury should look to build a world title fight with Haye. Big money in that. Would sell out a large venue and guarentees a Brit an alphabelt. Not sure hwo feasible it is, but if the money is right, you know haye is in.

Are you crazy ??
Heavyweight champions get $5 million bucks a fight minimum.......Why would he want to get battered for that amount in a one off fight!!
He'll look to win and milk............

Aye because Haye has always shown at heavy his word is his bond. If someone offers him enough money he would fight Fury or anyone else you'd card to mention.

oh im sorry so wlad wins on points it must be easy for vitali!! they are different fighters with different styles , wlad was awkward and haye to negative ! vitali will have seen haye dispactched of chisora while he struggled , vitali has slowed down and hayes speed is to much of a risk for him to take , cant blame him!TRUSSMAN66 wrote:"Vitali and his team know it!!"

Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
Think Haye has a good chance against the Vitali that fought Charr and Chisora. Definitely slowed down but maybe more down to the knee than age. Haye certainly has a better chance than Fury (i do rate Fury though) at this stage of Furys career. Wouldn't even be competitive but time is on his side to get a world title.

That's true but if hes a shepherd we're amoeba and thus we cannot retain the information for lon... oh hello there have we met before?
Re: Tyson Fury on Vitali
Lets put it this way, fury won't get his hands on the belt due to fat mick being insignificant promoter for such a high profile title.
If anything GoldenBoy will buy Wilder the belt. Suliman will be happy to give Oscar a heavy weight champ on his books. Just a thought
