Hatton Undercard

First topic message reminder :

All the talk for the last few weeks has been about Ricky, and rightly so. But has given his fighters the chance to prepare without having cameras stuck in their face every 5 minutes which is bound to help. So how do we see those going?

I think Gary Buckland will get through his fight against Steven Forster JR. Forster JR is a decent boxer but Bucklands power is the real equaliser. I also feel Murray will beat Navarro in a WBA Interim fight putting him right back in the title mix. The one I can't pick is Munroe and Quigg, before the last fight I picked Munroe but Quigg had the better of what little action there was. Possibly Munroe underestimated just how skilled Quigg, hopefully there will be no cuts though.

Hatton needs to look for the doube jab, straight right on the way in. That'll bring Senchenkos guard up allowing him to throw the left to the body.

Ricky's so easy to hit, decent bit of brawling though, at least he's exciting to watch! You'd have to fear for him against someone with a half decent dig.

Given the quality of opposition, Ricky is doing well.

Head still too static and should work the body more but doing OK

Ricky was taking some shots then, a couple snapped his head back, he can't take many of them surely.

Hatton's missus doesn't look happy

Hattons lack of defense is made up by his good chin. He will wear this guy down

listening on 5 live? hatton sounds as if he's getting beat?

Hmmm, he will probably win this, but he is very reckless, going at the least take a lot of punishment from better fighters, if not lose to them.

I think this should be the only fight.

most they hated me when i lived there.

Not a great round for Hatton, though I suspect his reasonable finish will sway the judges.

This isn't the Hatton of old.

Hatton will win this but looks a bit average to be honest. Dont mean that nastily it could be ring rust but on this performance I think a top 5 WW would take him apart which there is no shame in

Hatton looking pretty ragged, Senchenko sticking to the basics but that seems to be enough with Ricky's poor timing.

I can see Ricky scrapping through and people calling for a big name and Ricky getting seriously hurt. Quite sad really.

Very good sixth round for Senchenko. Really teed off on Hatton.

I think Hatton may gas. If he wins this it will be pure desire.

Said that senchenko will come on strong after the first 5 and hatton is looking raged and marked up around the eyes

I seriously hope this is his last fight, go out of *hopefully* a win.

Those flying left hooks will be dangerous against even a Brook or Khan.

Hatton still looking ragged, missing with most shots and his attacks are too predictable, biggest problem is he can't get close enough to be effective. Close rounds will go his way so still all to play for.

You're right it is tough to watch, he is so off with his timing and he just doesn't have it any more.

Not scoring but I'd prob go 4-4 after 8 rounds with Senchenko looking the stronger going into the last two. Not sure if Hatton still has the legs.

If Khan or Brook challenge Hatton at this stage, I will lose every ounce of respect for them.

Hatton can go out on a high (ish) and he will be remembered as one of our greats, nothing to prove.

Hatton is lucky its 10 rounds and not 12, because he is looking the word edit wear at this moment

I am a massive hatton fan but I hope he loses, it will end in disaster with a better fighter than senchenko. Enjoy retirement Ricky!

I think this fight might be able to give Hatton the answers he needs to leave the fight game. The fairly boring fight might be a blessing in disguise. Lets hope so.

Oh dear Ricky....

His timing is off but his stamina seems to be OK.

But, his head movement isn't good enough and he should be working the body a lot more.

All over. Body shots - what Hatton has done unto others so many times has been done to him.
