huck arslan, bute grachev and sky sports action (spoilers possible)

anybody picking an upset? not really in my opinion, huck was strong against povetkin who i actually rate and is pushing hard for a fight with wlad. he is raw but effective and i dont forsee him having to go the distance for his win. bute could be interesting to see how he comes back from his first (and bad) loss. i also rate bute more than most and think if he looks good tonight the the froch rematch certainly looks more appealing.

just a general thread to run if anybody wants to discuss the fights

BLimey, Bute took his sweet ass time getting to the ring, drawn a big crowd to say he is fighting a relative no name and he got splatted in his last fight, the Froch fight in Canada will be massive.

Bute looks sharp early, looks very accurate and very tricky to ge to, Grachev landed a right hook though, and I'm not sure if it hurt him or if Bute was off balance a tad, but there looked to be a slight reaction to it.

Good second round for him too looks to have settled into a decent rythm early o.

Bute will relax more and more with each round. Grachev is not working along the lines of the Froch blueprint

Don't think he can physically do that though tbh.

Few warning signs from Grachev there to be honest, but if this carries on I think Bute will KO him, shipping a few too many clean is Grachev, taken them well so far.

Grachev is in this because Bute is defensively weak. Interesting fight

I don't know why he tries to/needs to fight up close.. and on the ropes, he has been taught to hold... so keep holding more, don't do that bobbing and weaving.

Bute is winning but he is risking gassing with all this movement and Grachev is well in this

Too loose and open at times, Grachev should do more of what he did that round, really push Bute about.

He has a good jab when he uses it.. and needs to keep his right higher.

I think if he boxes like this against Froch in the return he'll have his arse handed to him again.

Bute is exhausted. Regardless of this one, no way does he beat Froch in a rematch on this showing

Guys I'm really getting a feeling Grachev could KO Bute here.

Bah, he just doesn't have enough power and is fighting in the centre of the ring too much in that round, he needs to push Bute back onto the ropes, he is gonna lose in the centre of the ring.

He escapes Grachev and then doesn't throw anything.

8th was better for Bute

Better 12th from Bute but too much of the hands down business and you can't do that with anyone with good power (e.g. Froch).

Bute likes counter-punching but he doesn't have the chin for it.

Froch is going to Bugger Bute next year and send him into a carehome.
