Does anyone watch Gold Rush on Discovery? I've watched both series over the last year or two and think it's awesome. It's got some great characters too and glad it's been granted a third season. Let's get some Gold Todd!

Yeah mate i love it! 

I wish uk would air shows at the same time as US. Pretty sure Bearing Sea Gold season 2 aired in jan or feb of this year going by some of the characters twitter accounts, yet it airs in late August early September over here. 

Enjoying the new season though. I prefer gold divers to gold rush because it feels more like old school prospecting. The gold rush show seems to have big plots of land and everything is done on a big scale, like the Marie rose in gold divers. The little dredges with amateur miners is brilliant! Some of them are way out of their depth. Plus they seem to find nuggets a lot which is cool, sometimes in onlynamfew hours diving. 

How funny was the chick who was demanding to have Zekes mat's? What a cow! 

Scott is such a character too, angriest man in Alaska haha.

Scott is mental, proper mental, however he isn't as mental as that dude who Vernon hired! Think his name was Dave, and he was just amazingly mental

How that Steve fella is considered a diver I dunno. I could dive better

"I'm fine to work with, just don't make me angry." Haha, so basically, just keep your head down and don't say a word or else you're gonna get torn a new one. 

Oh yeah! That crazy ex army diver or what ever. He was completely bananas! Swearing his undying loyalty one second, jumping off the dredge and swimming to shore to get a taxi to the airport the next. 

Zeke and Emily both need to get layed.. Maybe diver Dave could have helped out on that front, he looked like he had enough energy to last a few rounds haha.

Is it a series or one off? Recorded it, haven't got round to watching it as of yet.

Series i think , i recorded it aswell and haven't watched it yet .

So how do we think Todd can screw it up this time ?

watched it last night , it wasn't bad in fact i thought Todd might get shot which would of upped ratings no end

To be honest, I havent been able to get into anything other than Gold Rush. Discovery tried to capitalise on the shows popularity with all these off-shoots but, for me, there will only be one show I take seriously. I'm sure the others are okay but Todd & Co. is where I shall remain

How embarrassingly staged n fake is Jungle Gold. How people can be fooled by this show amazes me. Firstly, their not out-of-work poor guys. They've got massive houses, model wives, three or four kids & families with loads of money. They've also got a huge contract from Discovery paying them. Last night's episode was embarrassing. The scene where the blonde haired guy gets struck by a tree, acts like's he massively injured. They basically sprayed ketchup on his forehead, claimed he had severe concussion but then he miraculously is fine the next day. He subsequently has no cut on his head, no stitches & no plaster or anything the next day. Shocking.

The desperation this TV channel is to repeat the success of Gold Rush is ridiculous.

It gets much worse John, the series end will further enhance the staged feel.

Haha shocking. The part where he`s in the tent at 2am n makes out there are intruders. It then says bullets are flying everywhere, yet we see nothing. Embarrassing. Then he needs 9k n miraculously the gold he got from the Chinese is exactly 9k`s worth when he gets it melted down. So bad this programme.

I can't wait for the season end to see how much worse this gets. Mate of mine watches this & he takes it well serious. Swears its all real.

Absolutely shocking ending to the series of Jungle Gold. So fake & staged. Wanted fugitives.....embarrassing. The parts in the airport were hilarious, them just walking past immigration people. They were never wanted & never being chased.

Love it how they get on the plane, which is clearly a private jet paid for by Discovery. The they say, 'we're going back to ghana one day to finish what we started'. I thought you were the two most wanted men in Ghana, with your faces being shown on TV etc. Truly shocking.

If you hate it that much, why watch?
