Orton not working at Summerslam

Following the completion of a 60-day suspension for his second violation of WWE's Wellness Policy, Randy Orton is currently overseas with the SmackDown brand for this weekend's tour of Asia.

However, with less than two weeks until SummerSlam, the main event superstar says he won't be wrestling on the show.

Orton responded to fans Twitter on Thursday afternoon (Japan time), talking about the 12 1/2 hour flight, keeping in touch with his wife Samantha while away and more. When asked why he's not featured on WWE's promotional material hyping SummerSlam, he responded:

"because unfortunately I'm not working"

I was reading this suggestion on Bleacher this morning. I think it would be a good idea. Have Slater give him a good fight then sell an RKO in that awesome fashion that he does.

Heath probably deserves a PPV payday, at the very least

Orton should just turn up and RKO everybody who's on the Summerslam card.

Depends whats happening with Punk, they won't turn both heel at the same time

What really annoys me is that he comes out after yet another stupid suspension and squashes a guy who has jobbed to the legends for 8 weeks odd and deserves something a little better.

This is nothing to do with liking Heath Slater but everything to do with WWE rewarding the wrong people and squashing the people who put in a shift every single time.

I think this shows how far Orton's stock has fallen in the past year or so.

He'll still probably squash Slater in a dark match or something
