Who does Kurt Angle wish he gave a rub to?

Kurt Angle replied to a tweet of mine earlier today (get in!!!!) when I asked him of any guy in his career he could go back and put over who would it be.

He answered....


Val Venis or Bob Holly

Bob Holly

No his answer was 'Val Venis or Bob Holly' it wasn't a 50/50 question!

Both of them are those guys that were around for ages but nobody seemed to know why.

I spy with Kurt Angle's eye something that begins with 'drunken tweeter'.

He had to have been drunk to say them 2 names

I could see Venis, Morley was undoubtedly a decent hand who they kept around mainly to put on decent matches and put over the guys on the lower card, maybe Angle wanted to show respect and give a bit of rub to a guy who's steady cog in the machine career is in stark contrast to Angle's meteoric rise.

The same reason's could apply to Holly I guess but he's got a reputation for being less than helpful with newbies, maybe they got on well backstage? or maybe he was just yanking your chain?

I think Angle felt bad about breaking Holly's arm with his Moonsault all those year's ago.

Venis I feel could ahve been someone but his Porn star gimmick, and then Right to Censor period really killed off his chances of beign a Main Eventer.

Ask him the same question again Hero and see what his response is.


I reckon next time he'll say Pete Gas and Verne Gagne.
