This man needs ousted from boxing, simple.

He is unwilling to drug test any of his fighters. Compare this to Golden Boy have introduced the tests to 17 of their fights in the last while back.

My inking is at least 3 of his fighters would get caught straight away or would have in their previous fights under Top Rank. I'll not say who but you can all probably guess.

The man is a rat.

This is disgraceful coming from a promoter. They should be championing fairness - not mentioning "oh well its only a bit so he should fight"

Ok lets run with Bob's argument. Petersen is allowed to fight with everyone involved knowing he has failed a drug test. What happens if during the fight Khan is knocked out and seriously hurt, in a Gerard Mc kind of way, still the right decision to let the fight go on? Still no big deal? Or alternatively is it the final nail in the coffin of the sport and the best weapon the abolishonists could ever hope to have.

You're right of course.

I don't think bob understands the implications, although he thinks Boxing is in fine shape. Doesn't understand that 99% of boxing fans would be happier without him in the sport.

He wants to make it look like its not such a bad thing because hes probably aware of his biggest names juicing.

Honestly, to even think about letting fighters carry on with their fight and punish them after is horrendous.

If Chavez Jr was signed to fight Canelo in a joint promo and Saul failed a drug test, would Bob allow the fight to continue as long as Saul got a silly fine etc after. No chance.

Arum should be jailed.

The sad thing is this is one of the most powerful and influential men in the sport.

If he got his pocket money taken away from him I'm happy.

SRR I don't think that would of went ahead. You need to factor in that the WBC is 'Mexican' therefore it would work against them to enquire further into JCCs absence from drug testing.

It's another dark day for boxing when one of the most powerful men in the sport has an opinion like this and it raises questions over some of the other fighters he promotes.

It beggars belief that mans stupidity, ignorance & arrogance! maybe we should allow the loading of gloves after all we won't know the extent of the damage until after the fight, any thought before hand is just speculation. This man is a qualified lawyer as well.
