Desert Island Discs

I just heard that Brian Moore - the Pitbull - will be the guest next week (26/02/02) on R4.

That could be fascinating with his disturbed personal history, his fantastic career and great punditry both as a journalist and on TV.

Maybe it could have been better scheduled after the France game - but Wales will do.

Hope he selects some Dylan in his record choices...

i will listen to this. i am not a fan of the programme but sometimes there is someone on there that i am interested in listening to.

I heard Lawrence Dallalligio (sp) on his Desert Island Discs. I really warmed to him. Similarly Moore's Telegraph Column and especially his autobiography has won my admiration.
Will check it out, though I expect some dodgy70s and 80s music.

Hope he's better than SCW. He was quite boring and his choice of music was anodyne to say the least.

I read SCW's self-promoting article in the Sunday Times today. It was sickening and disrespectfull to all that have succeeded him as English coach.
