The Brian Moore programme was probably the most moving piece of radio I've heard in years - goes a long way to explaining his persona.

Seems the Alfie film is going ahead as well with Rourke playing Alfie. Im wondering who will play the others, Elijah Wood as Shane maybe? Jack Black as Adam Jones? got to be Elmer Fudd as Steve Hansen.

I meet Brian Moore in the pub in Wimbledon one day.

I recongise him first from his distinctive voice and was some shock to find him queue behind me near to the bar.

He was a gracious man even though busy with a lot of family lunching and was kindly to welcome me to England and recommend which one beer to drink from the bar on our very short chatting for me to say there is some honour and ask him to go first to be served.

Yes i think he has two , ive read his most recent one , worth a read i believe its called "Pit Bull"
