Martinez should be far to good for Barker. Martinez is a southpaw as well and Barker has never been in with a top class fighter never mind a southpaw that can punch like Martinez. Martinez to dominate and stop Barker late imo.

As everyone has mentioned - an easy Martinez win depending on how quickly he wants to finish it.

Im in a weird place with this fight, usually go for the British fighter but cant help but really like Martinez. I want to see him break up the Manny and PBF monopoly on P4P #1 but a loss to Barker would not help that at all!

Don't see Barker reaching the half way point,nothing in Barkers armoury to suggest he troubles Martinez.

Some may disagree but i have Martinez in the later rounds, Barkers a decent fighter and i think hes tough enough to stay in there till about the tenth, whilst down by a large margin on the cards.

Going for it boys I'm picking Barker.....Don't think Martinez is that good to be honest...overrated..Barker is bigger and for me southpaw style of Martinez aside more cultured..I like him..

Martinez is foolish in taking this fight. He wasnts the big money PPV matchups so he's fighting Barker? If he's so good he should fight a top ranked middleweight at least.

Prior to Williams II Martinez wasn't regarded as a huge puncher - decent yes, but not huge. Williams walked into that left repeatedly until he got caught with the money shot. If barker has any sense - which he does - he'll have studied that tape as a guide for what not to do. Hopefully he's had some quality southpaw sparring too. I don't think Sergio will blow Barker away, and I think Darren is smart enough and brave enough to give a good account of himself. Having said that the cream always rises to the top and Martinez is levels above barker as both a technician and an athlete. He's at his peak right now and a legit p4p top 3 fighter. Barker to start promisingly and not embarrass himself, but Martinez to outclass and stop him in the championship rounds. Personally not bothered who wins, Darren may be a Brit but Martinez is a class act as a fighter and a man so no problems with him taking it, just a shame he's having to fight the likes of barker at this stage if his career when he should be cementing his legacy.

Williams has always been vulnerable to the left...Lara slapped him silly in the fight with it...Martinez laid the blueprint on Williams.

Ive gone for Martinez 5-8 i reckon it will be in the 7th personally, he has way too much for Barker but as some have mentioned fair play to him for taking up the fight, brave guy!

i have money on martinez ko 1-6 15/8 and money on the straight ko to cover it, just dont see how barker goes the distance
