What athletics do you do?

A simple question really, What athletics training/events/competitions do you do?
Personally, I am a distance runner from 5k to marathon although I think my marathon times are better than my relative 5k performance. Enjoy running, was doing 6 days a week until April, but slight injury has prevented this in the last 2 months.

Anyone else still compete?

Not anymore no but I used run 200m and 100m for my school and local club. When my exams came around I stopped going now there finished though I might look into joining back up.

Used to be a mediocre distance runner, now I'm just plain useless due to a lack of motivation.

You forget how much training it takes to be even moderately good.

My daughter started running track at school so I have been running with her. We did a 5K a few weeks back - the time was slow but it was a great experience. I am thinking about doing some veterans track races by next year maybe.
