Plenty of action of the weekend with some outstanding performances - who did the best out of everyone?

Has to be Holly Bleasdale - a new National Record would have to beat 'plain' PB's everytime! [ Usuall,y but I'm sure therewould be exceptions i.e. say Idowu jumping 18.14m etc - but even then, a national record is tough to overshadow...]

However, all the listed perforamnces were great Very Happy

Also thought Kwakye's 11.15 for the 100m is mighty impressive too!

I voted for Bleasdale too, just a huge improvement in an event we've not been all that competitive in for years. And it's a big National Record do, really happy for her.

Thanks to EBB for continuing the tradition initiates by Isabre.

Very difficult choice this time between Bleasdale and Woodward. Woodward just edged it in my mind.

Lots and lots of great supporting times and distances. Must have been the best weekend for some time. Made up a little bit for our performances in tennis and cricket. Crying or Very sad

Talking about GB tennis. We lost twice. Firstly vs Nadal (no great surprise) and an aussie in the junior boys final. In both cases after winning the first set.

Has to be Holly Bleasdale for me. Nathan Woodward's run is very good but Holly B is actually younger and is now in the world's top 4.

Nathan has knocked a second off his PB in 12 months. He had a very serious condition (fluid on the heart) which put him out of the commonwealth games, since that has cleared up he has been getting better and better.

Its a difficult one, but Bleasdales performance is genuinely world class and might even win a medal in Daegu if she were to clear it again. Woodwards time might not even get him into the final but there is maybe a bigger depth of talent in his event.
Either way both excellent performances from young GB athletes which is what we all want so happy days.

4.61 from Holly Bleasdale and 2nd place at Birmingham - backing up nicely last weekend's performances...
