Getting the band back together?

We all know how this works by now, there has been plenty of threads talking up a rebirth but I’m giving it one last punt.

Looking for 8-10 minimum who’d be interested in getting this e-fed lark off the ground and running it one more time, if only to satisfy our geeky inner teenagers once more.

When or more likely if we get the numbers then we can discuss show dates, what characters to use etc but no point in going through all that if we never get started.

Have a think, don’t commit if your heart or real life won’t allow the time because I know we’ve all been there and half arsing it ain’t worth it. Let everyone from the old guard know, if you know anyone else who may be interested give them a shout and we’ll see what’s what.

I’m in a position right now where I can run this place but I appreciate others may not have the time. This isn’t 2010 anymore. But I’m not creating a pressure situation, I want it to be a laugh more than anything

Again once we have some kind of word on numbers then I’ll ask around for any help with writing etc. Obviously I know there are guys that can be relied on for match and promo writing but we’ll cross that bridge as and when.

I havent logged on here for months. By chance I did today just to read the footy threads and saw this. Hells yeah I'd be game

Brilliant stuff, I’d say 2-3 more definite sign ups and I’ll draw some proper plans.

Initial thoughts are: I’m going to run creative for the early part however depending on how we go grow I may need to ask for help. I’ll definitely he messaging everyone for thoughts on things though, I really want to make sure everyone feels they can have an input. A little more relaxed than in the past.

Shows would be every 10 days (two weeks is too long in my opinion and whilst I believe I could do every week I’d rather try it this way for now) and I know that means the show day would change every week but that doesn’t bother me, unless anyone objects?. From a creative point of view it just means more shows to tell a story and I’d prefer that.

Lastly, and once again up for negotiation depending on what you all want, I’m more than happy for everyone to use old characters, however, I’d prefer that they are either new creations or you use characters that have never been a world champion. I want something a little fresher and I think, even from a creative view, it’s too easy to fall back on the old bigger, dependable names for the top slots instead of exploring new ideas.

I’ll send a couple of message out to see if there’s any more interest but they are my initial thoughts on moving forward.

Would you want to use him? Clean slate and all.....no history and would be great to see what you come up with.

Technically mate yeah, Uryu was the final 6CW Champ.

But if you really want to use him I’m not going to tell you that you can’t, there isn’t a rule against it. The fed itself will just have a fresher feel so I thought everyone might want to try something different but you’re under no obligation. I will work with whatever is good for you. We can create stories around any direction.

I think all of the likely returnees have been world champion! So I say go for new characters

I think with the difference in Uryu that being in a reboot would still feel fresh.

I came to check in and see it's still a possible. I'm in but Marty Helms needs to continue. I think I got a world title reign but in theory not to have fun with.

We never did the show where Uryu became world champion but I think someone posted what the final Night of Glory was going to be and he would have won the title. However, as I’ve said, use him if you want, mate. I honestly don’t mind. If you’re really comfortable with that character then we’ll make it work.

I’d say one more definite and I’ll arrange the first show. Everyone who has signed up start creating your characters or finding character sheets/updating them and we’ll get this rolling

You two didn’t give two hoots what I posted by the end, so I got full freedom to put my card out there
I should look at that again and try remember the idea behind each one, I was always planning to write that show out as the night 6CW ended, have it mean something in the history books, but time escapes us all.

I’ll have a post up later with a more detailed overview of the plan going forward and perhaps a promo thread for some introductory work or whatever your character has been up to since the end of 6CW.

But in short yes we’ll stay under the 6CW banner. It’ll be a smaller operation and hopefully fresher, don’t think it makes sense to think we’d restart and still be selling out huge arenas etc. Storyline wise will be a building from the ground up

Right, we've got the magic 8. So if everyone that has signed up so far can PM me their updated or new character sheets that would be great. I just want to get the first match card up so we can start as soon as possible. I've sent other PM's out so hopefully there'll be a few more sign ups but with the base we've got I can get the first show up and running once I know character names etc.

I've also got a promo announcement to go up about the re-start. Once that is up feel free to post introductory promos underneath to get a feel for your characters etc.

You’re free to use whatever character you like although preferably either a new one or one that hasn’t been world champion before.

I haven’t messaged either Liam or Pete, I will do if people think they’d be interested.

I have character sheets for Marky, Uryu and Dolph so far as well as my own. As soon as I have eight character sheets the first show will be two weeks after so the quicker you get them done the better cheers all

I'm in...but even though he was a multiple time champ, I'd like to use Liam Wood as he's really been the only character I've ever really enjoyed using...I think if this is set up like an AEW type show it could make sense to have some past names join.
