Boxing at my age!! You never forget.

Thought my Boxing days were behind me..until last night...

Went out with my Wife for a quiet drink (supposedly) anyway we ended up in this bar where there was a band playing (won't name the bar). Anyway to cut a long story short ..some guy out of his head on acid or something headbutted me (God's honest truth) for no reason!! I couldn't believe it...Anyway I just out of autopilot threw some punches and next thing we are split up and he stays in the bar and I get kicked out...British justice!!

I didn't feel a thing although I have slight bruising round my eyes this morning so he must have clonked me good... My pregnant Wife found the whole thing amusing afterwards and said she knows how the guy feels..However she did warn me that best not to do it again unless I want her to have twins!!..

In a perverse way I was proud of myself for my quick reaction and impressive handspeed..I certainly would've won and finished my career with a win....Felt good to feel real adrenalin again...

Going to drop the Industrial Psychology and hunt for a Cruiser title instead!!!

You would certainly fit in with heavyweight scene at the moment. You would make the overweight fat slobs such as Arreloa etc feel good about themselves.

Must admit I was more than a little put out by the audacity of him....

I've been in that situation before Truss. Was walking down Camden high street to euston after a night out - I don't really drink and was as sober as a judge, when this lunatic crossed the road, started shouting abuse at me and swinging this bloody rucksack at me! He was absolutely hammered and I mustve told him to get lost 10 times, but he was determined to clobber me with this bag! I gave him a final warning but he didn't listen and left me no choice but to deck him - I honestly pitied the guy as I put him on the floor. I still felt bad the next day! To make it worse these two huge west Indian guys stood outside a chicken shop saw me drop him and assumed I'd attacked him for no reason and started chasing me down the street! I legged it to euston station and jumped the barriers to safety. You really can't account for the madness of hammered people.

Congrats on your glorious comeback and magnanimous victory Truss, now hang em up for good this time, don't want you carrying on too long.

At least you had time to prepare sweetie....The headbutt didn't hurt..

It was just the guy's audacity in doing it......

Whether he thought I was a nice guy and wouldn't respond or a weak link I don't know....

im currently arm wrestling champ at work, at works christmas do just gone my superviser challeged me to a arm wrestle. it was tough going untill his arm shattered in 3 places!! thats the last physical violence i occured.

he had to enjoy his whole christmas walking around like he was on a nazi march, unsuprsingly we have both retired from the arm wrestling game. me i went out on top like a lewis, sadly he's more like a ali. still cant bend his arm properly now

had a bit of a street fight the other day, reigned 5 unanswered hooks to the guys jaw and head, then he leaned forward with his head down so i gave him a froch screwing uppercut.... then it was broken up & police were called.

i cannot believe this fella didnt drop to the floor (we were both sober)... but in my defence, the guy had tree trunk legs.
