Yes, that's true. He might be a true gent in private; one could only hope. Nothing I've read about him and his past really suggests that's a major characteristic though and nothing really justifies his utterances and behaviour over the last few years.
His behaviour fits perfectly with insecurity and I'll continue to suspect that's what he is, but you're right, I can't know for certain.

Breitbart is huge and it was Mercer's Cambridge Analytica etc who set up the targeted Facebook/Twitter feeds etc. Of course the Arch-Egocentrist was a part of it all, but to propose that it was all his master plan is laughable.

OK, overturning the starting odds is 'impressive', but I put it to you that Trump won because of dissatisfaction with the status quo, austerity and because he was backed by entities like Breitbart etc. He had zero thought through strategy, although I suspect Mercer et al had exactly that. He lied through his teeth, behaved like a pr*ck the whole campaign and desperate/daft people lapped it up even though many must have known it was pretty much all BS. Bit like the £350m per week for the NHS and all that over here...

It was a good achievement. Not sure I buy into him being a brilliant businessman as it reminds me a little of the IT Crowd. To paraphrase all I had when I started my business was a small idea and 4 billion pounds.

I would love to know how much of his speeches are his writers and how much is him getting distracted and waffling though!

Intelligence is a complicated beast: top sportsman are a perfect example. The way, say, Wayne Rooney's brain works as he plays football shows incredible intelligence. Yet someone really good at quizzes is seen as more intelligent even though you'd argue a great general knowledge is somewhat useless.

Trump isn't stupid, is what I'm saying, whilst I also think he's an idiot. But that may be down to my slight different definitions.

If Clinton could do the Election again I think she would sack whoever told her to campaign in places like Texas (That were not needed) and instead visit the rust belt more often....I'm afraid like Theresa May found out you can't take anything for granted....

Trump was pretty much 50/50 when polled about whether he was as trusted as the media a few months ago which suggests a certain corrosion in his core support.......
