V2 WWC 2016- Quarter Final A

Following a delay due to a busy day and a dodgey internet connection, the 2016 V2 WWC is back with a bumper crop of Quarter Final matches to get us back on track

I've enjoyed New Day this year more than I have enjoyed Charlotte, even if they have started to become stale.

Charlotte has been one of; if not the best thing about RAW besides Jericho. She has the right mix when it comes to cutting a promo, she knows how to work the crowd and her in ring work is very good.

Last week's RAW ending, with her and Flair, and the beatdown of Sasha was one of the best endings to RAW in a long, long time.

I love Charlotte, but think it shows how low standards are if that's a best ending in years.

She has outshone her counterparts this year, maybe by virtue of being allowed to be heel when I think really Sasha shines most as a heel

Oh, absolutely. RAW has been poor for a long time. It wasn't so much the way RAW ended, more so the way Charlotte portrayed it, the delivery, the sadistic side to her. It was compelling viewing.

RAW womens divison is pretty poor. Theres nothing outside of Charlotte and Sasha and even then that isnt perfect. However, when I think about who I've enjoyed more and whos worked better over the past 12 months she easily beats New Day.

I've been bored of New Day for months now, its been the same shtick since WrestleMania. If they werent shipping so much merch they should have been turned heel again to allow them to freshen it up a bit.

Still enjoyed the New Day, especially how badly they book that division too. But Charlotte is great

I think even if Raw was on immense form, last week's ending would have been one of the best endings for years. It was a stunning piece. Charlotte was phenomenal through the whole thing.

A remarkable year.
