EmmDee57 may have been nervous after Super_Realist's charge but it was TheCleaver that he should have worried about.  With Patrick Reed, Emiliano Grillo, and Jason Day finishing 1-2-4 respectively TheCleaver stormed to victory.  He also added another scoring pick for good measure.  EmmDee57 had five picks score but there was not enough quality to compete.  Beninho, McLaren, Pedro, and SirBenson all had three picks score points while BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, Raycastleunited, and Sand each had two scoring picks.  Davie, LadyPutt, Owen10ozzy, and Super_Realist rounded out the points scoring with one pick scoring points.

Johnson Wagner and Sung Kang both shot 64 to tie for the low round of the day.  Both Kwinigolfer and Pedro had Wagner in their picks.

The last edition of The Barclays sees another jam packed field enter the FedEx Cup Playoffs.  65 of the top 100 in the world rankings are teeing it up at the Black course at Bethpage State Park.  Jason Day is the headliner as both world number one and defending champion after winning the title in some style at Plainfield Country Club last year.  Other former winners in the field include Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Heath Slocum, Vijay Singh, and Steve Stricker.  The previous winner at Bethpage, Nick Watney, did not make the Playoffs.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

A slow start for Fantasy Leaguers and also some bad news as Henrik Stenson, a popular pick, withdrew after his first round. Two picks, Martin Laird and Patrick Reed, shot 66 to tie for the first round lead while fellow pick Emiliano Grillo gatecrashed the Top 5 Low Round scores after shooting 67. That said only six Fantasy Leaguers got off of the mark after the first round. TheCleaver has the early lead after picking both Reed and Grillo. Beninho, EmmDee57, and GolferMartin all picked Laird and AlciG and SirBenson also picked Grillo.

Super_Realist was one of the few not to pick Henrik Stenson and his selections proved to be pretty good overall. Just one of his picks failed to make the weekend and he had the most picks through with eight. EmmDee57 continued his fine run of form with Jason Kokrak shooting 66 to tie for low round of the day and seven picks making it through earning two cut bonuses. Beninho, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, McLaren, Pedro, Sand, and SirBenson also have seven picks left and all earned one cut bonus. BlueCoverman, I'm Never Wrong, LadyPutt, and Owen10ozzy all have six picks left; LadyPutt and Owen10ozzy earned a cut bonus. AlciG, Davie, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, and TheCleaver all have five picks left; TheCleaver earned the final cut bonus.

The cut line fell at +3 and Jamie Lovemark matched Kokrak's 66.

Super_Realist went on a charge as two of his picks made the Top 10 Low Round scores and one of the was the low round scorer in Adam Scott. EmmDee57 did enough to hold onto top spot as he had one pick score points. McLaren and Sand had two picks score to move up the leaderboard and Beninho, BlueCoverman, Davie, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, Pedro, Raycastleunited, and SirBenson also had one pick score points.

Scott shot 65 for the low round while scores of 68 or lower were needed to score points.

EmmDee57 may have been nervous after Super_Realist's charge but it was TheCleaver that he should have worried about. With Patrick Reed, Emiliano Grillo, and Jason Day finishing 1-2-4 respectively TheCleaver stormed to victory. He also added another scoring pick for good measure. EmmDee57 had five picks score but there was not enough quality to compete. Beninho, McLaren, Pedro, and SirBenson all had three picks score points while BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, Raycastleunited, and Sand each had two scoring picks. Davie, LadyPutt, Owen10ozzy, and Super_Realist rounded out the points scoring with one pick scoring points.

Johnson Wagner and Sung Kang both shot 64 to tie for the low round of the day. Both Kwinigolfer and Pedro had Wagner in their picks.
