Overall Tactic - sit deep and hit with the pace and power of Dembele, Barkley, Bolasie and Afobe on the counter. Capoue to be the destroyed in midfield. Wingbacks to form a back 5 rather than push on, to keep a solid base, and will only join attacks when needed. CB's to crowd out Lewandowski. Bolasie to destroy either Morgan/Jagielka.

If we go behind at 65 mins bring on Arnautovic and Bojan for Pieters and Tripper - go 3-4-1-2 (Bolasie and Arnautovic wide with Bojan up top)

Accrington could only hold on for so long playing a deep line as they invited pressure, Crawley were able to match them in power and pace with the likes of Ribery, Lewy, Vidal. Crawley also had the quality to go along with the physical side of the game. I thought playing as the home side Accrington would have been more positive in their approach. Accrington made some subs later on in the game, were they went more attacking but Crawley also made subs of thier own to kill the game off despite that Accrington pulled one back.

Tactics - We're expecting RM to line up in a 3-5-2, and plan to attack them by overloading the wings when we have the ball and are able to counter attack. On their ball, we're willing to drop off to contain Aguero and Deulofeu, we don't think their midfield has what it takes to beat us and are willing to challenge them to do so. When we counter, the front 4 will break at speed with Tielemans adding the option of a long range shot. Get the ball into Jese's feet and he can get us moving forward at pace. Ebsfleet may have got the RM formation wrong but their approach to the game was excellent, I liked how they were told to drop off the Madrid danger men which made it difficult for Madrid to get through the solid centre. Madrid would have gave a better showing if they had a stronger midfield, Kondogbia & Tielemans got the better of Pereyra & Kouyate. The front four had the pace to trouble Madrids back line and the counter set up was perfect. Madrids strength comes from the wings and I feel Nadeem should have been a bit more tactical. Real have a solid back line but even the best CB will struggle if they don't have good enough protection.
