Wherever there is big rewards.....There is going to be a lot of cheats.....

Not sure about legalisation though....Bodybuilders are dropping like flies in their 40s.....Wouldn't want to see boxers go the same way.....

If it's legal they'll be using everything..

Boxing's never attracted the most wholesome characters, and unlike say golf, has never quite been a sport where the virtues of a honesty are extolled high up to heaven (witness the amount of people who admire B-Hop basically cheating vs Woods getting a two stroke penalty for getting his lie wrong by about an inch). combine this with lazy governing bodies and it isn't pretty

Fury states these guys taking drugs are putting extra strain on their heart...true however so does piling on an extra five stone in between fights ya simpleton.

Says once a guy takes his shirt off he can tell immediately if he's on drugs. Well, if Fury's physique is any sort of yardstick, it means everyone from The Rock to Russell Grant is juicing compared to that flabby oaf

He's right and if be did what certain other heavies do, then he would be blasting guys all around the ring.

I'd say there is a high chance he is a clean athlete (can't always tell by the way someone looks, but he looks clean)

Unfortunately I can't say the same for his 40 year old opponent.

Always sound like jealousy and envy when people make such comments.

Hammer if you have been around gyms as much as me, and listen to people who are experts in ped use, you soon learn what's natural and what isn't.

I look decent. Not fat or not thin.

I ain't a bodybuilder so not too concerned with looks.

Anyhow I do know when men do as much cardio as heavyweight boxers and have ripped 18 inch arms, it isn't the good old chicken and broccoli.

Always strange how in the world you are innocent until proven guilty yet it differs for boxing.

Of course you do Adam, your basic experiences at the gym are comparable to an elite athlete and we should do away with drug testing because you've got it nailed down with just your eyes.

Not my experience with gym. More down to my knowledge of training and reading.

I like boxing but no f..k all. I spend far more time reading about training and drugs and stuff.

Guys sports are full of drugs. Not saying everyone uses, but you're very naive if you think loads aren't on.

I ain't saying everyone uses.

Do you guys think a certain boxer used an IV because he was drained?

To be honest I don't think you know anything about anything, you just make an argument for the sake of making an argument; saying you know 'stuff' doesn't back up your crackpot theories in the slightest.

Making baseless accusations is libellous and quite ridiculous.

Have you ever been to a gym? Have you read about bodybuilding?

Have you even seen the difference on how athletes look to 50 years ago?

Is that meant to refute anything Adam, you have at no point backed up any of your statements other than to say 'oh look at his physique, he must be juicing'.

I never said I can prove anything. Read about natural guidelines on what is achievable naturally.

I ain't looking attention.

Naw like you said, I have no proof so what's the point?

Hopefully drug testing becomes great someday and that will show what's real and what isn't.

Such is the level up at heavyweight, if I was Wlad I'd be more likely to be tucking into takeaways than juicing. He hasn't exactly needed to be at the pinnacle of his health to blow through all the taxi drivers that make it to mandatory status. Why bother with the drugs?

Maybe without drugs (if he is using) he would be a taxi driver as well.

Doesn't that say something about Wlad?

I've said it before with regards to both Haye and Wlad. Both of them were motoring through opponents left right and centre until they hit a brick wall. Since then both fighters power punch output has markedly decreased and both pick their punches to the extent where both are ridiculed for it. If they used drugs they would have had to use them to improve stamina as that is both their weak points. Instead both have adjusted in ways to conserve their stamina and reduce the likelihood of being hit.

The whole sport is likely plagued by drug and substance abuse. Its not even subtle. No point picking on individuals though.

Good point shah. Haye's way of adjusting to reduce the likelihood of being hit, was to retire. The man's a genius...no-one has laid a glove on him since.

No wonder he's always ill. Surely his medical team would utilise hygiene practices.
