Hayemaker is back

David Haye will be making "a big announcement" on Tuesday regarding his comeback. Does anyone believe he is actually making a return to the sport or are we going to be sucked in only to be let down again?

If he is coming back then where does he slot in? There are those that will want him to earn his right to the big fights but does anyone really want to see him knocking out nobodies?

Ballcocks, he's on his way back again, just wait for his next big announcement in 2016, followed by 2017 and so on

He will fight again, think the injuries are sorted properly now and he will need the cash for his real retirement from the sport, he is smart enough to know it will be easier earned the sooner he gets back in the ring. Will need to do things right this time because theres no doubt people have seriously lost faith in the fella.

Can he really fight with a reconstructed shoulder?

Does anyone know of any boxers that have had such an injury previously and come back as good or better?

Some good things for Haye is that his body has never been in a war and that he's a supreme athlete, hasn't fought for 3 years but probably can walk into a ring tomorrow, the man is a;ways staying in shape

Bad thing obviously is his shoulder, Hayes style of fighting is all about being explosive, his workrate is poor and doesn't like getting hit, fights in spurts and his spurts usually have his opponents in trouble. Take the speed and explosive power away from haye it's hard to see how far he can go at the top top level.

Either way me personally will happily watch him fight (not on PPV) but up untill that date couldn't give a damn about him, too many cancellations and too much play acting and its dull. But yes i'd like to see him fight as a fit david haye is the 2nd best heavyweight in the world today

Agree with you wholeheartedly HoS, really hoping he is genuinely back on the scene to add a bit of quality to a currently poor divison. I will be tempering my excitement given his past record but I have a feeling he could be sincere this time.

Hearn said he wouldn't be but it would certainly help the PPV.

Haye doesn't have a promoter or TV deal so will be interesting to see what happens.

Think he's looked at Joshua and decided there's money to be made.

Apparently he's facing Mark De Mori who held the German Version of the WBF title. I didn't know they did individual world titles for countries, might see if they do an English one.

Klit won't fight Haye... after the way he behaved in the build up to and aftermath of that fight, plus the fact that Wlad won pretty much every minute of every round, I can't see any way he thinks it's worth putting up with Haye again for what is a forgone conclusion. Beating him convincingly a second time does nothing for Klit...

He's a body builder from Down Under and one round knockout victim to David Haye.

To be fair De Mori is ranked 10th in the WBA rankings (Anthony Joshua 13th on the same list ). But if Haye is anything like his best he'll win comfortably.

Underwhelming and yet understandable given the three year lay off, however, given the gulf in class between the likes of Wlad, Haye and the chasing pack, I would have thought he's have been a tad more adventurous in his choice of opponent. Then again, given the state of the division, it won't take much the zoom up the rankings with a couple of quick wins and also, when you consider the number of other "top" fighters unwilling to take a risk these days, Haye's in good company.

What are the odds that this fight never actually happens?

Larry Holmes could get out of bed tomorrow and beat Di Mori. When you've messed your body up to the extent Haye has (with whatever he's chucked into it) you really need to skip this type of thing, for who knows when you'll fight again?!!

Hope he comes through this fight...Don't want this guy to get lucky...

When he loses.....I hope it's a nice...slow....beat down

For a stadium fight to sell, Haye is going to have to look half decent as I can't see the general public stomaching it but, for the sake of argument, if Haye picks up where he left off after Chisora and annihilates this guy but looks quick and sharp in doing so, does Eddie think Joshua will have learned enough in six months to step up to the required level? Say what you like about Haye but if he's still got ambition to go with the ability, Eddie's taking a huge risk on his newest cash cow. Could end up being Haye v Enzo all over again.

It's quite touching to read Dave's desperate defending of Haye. True love is a wonderful thing.

Haye has been out of action for three years and he's 35? It'll be a miracle if he wins and doesn't run out of gas after 4 rounds. A miracle I tell you.

I wouldnt be the biggest admirer of Klitschko, bt the idea of the pecking order being Klitschko and Haye and then everyone else is nonsense. Its Klitschko, and then everyone else. Haye was another ordinary challenger.
