There was a very long break at 1-0 this set. Im not actually sure what it was but took at least 5-10 minutes

Quick first game by Djoko!
4 first serve, 2 aces, game to love, apparently under a minute... quite a good start for him.
Come on Kevin, forget tax and DC debates and put up a fight!

This is a difficult match to watch. At least in football, when two teams you don't care for play you can hope for a goalless draw.

Martina Hingis is into the doubles Quarter finals. My heart always flutters when I see her. I still believe I could make her very happy.

Dr. Ivo would always win the shootouts though!
So in case of a tennis draw, why not make it like boxing, with judges giving points on quality displayed!

So.. if Federer continues like that, we'll have the Davis Cup Final rematch in QF:
> Wawrinka-Gasquet
> Federer-Simon
France team could have an answer to te question: "Was there a chance to win, had we play on Grass instead of Clay?"

I'd be actually rooting for any mix of those for the SW19 Final, with a preference for an all Swiss.

So... Doubles and Mixed Doubles are in BO5, but Ladies Doubles in BO3?? Never noticed before, looks strange (would make more sense if Mixed were in bo3 too, or if LD were in Bo5)

Seriously worrying times for Novak here.

Anderson is redlining and hasn't dipped since the start. He's almost impervious on serve.

Question is will this crazy level subside or is this one of those lifetime best performances that takes out a top player.

Novak a bit passive though. Looks a bit lost at the questions Anderson is posing.

Djokovic in this form would be an easy day's work for Wawrinka. Might want him to fight through.

Anderson needs this hold though.. or I'm afraid the redlining will disappear to a faster 4 sets win for Djoko

Djokovic breaks back via some very sexy returns.

This match is seriously close.

If Novak goes 2-0 down, it will be extremely tough to win 3 in a row against Anderson in this form.

I've got to say that watching a Kevin Anderson match right after a Karlovic match makes for a pretty tedious afternoon's tennis.

Tense. But still boring.

Federer enjoying his late afternoon walk, letting Agut hold to love. 2 holds left for Fed, but he should try to break Agut to win the match.

At least it will get things really really tense!
However I feel he'd get the set should they go to a TB.

They broke each other, now it looks like they just run through their serves to reach the TB and have a fight.

And he does just that. Fed through with a routine win: 6-2 6-2 6-3

Agut saved 5 MP though, Federer needs to wrap it up faster if he wants to lift the trophy

Hes going quite well. Small danger of being undercooked for the semis. Havent seen much of him, is he playing solid enough to take out Muzz and Novak back2back (sorry)

He's through, but he has to improve for his quarterfinal matchup with Simon

Should Simon break him once at least, to take the monkey off his back? He mentioned after his Groth win that it feels nice to not have been broken, that his game is going great.

And Novak makes it to the tie break. He would be "lucky" to win this set: he broke after Anderson didn't confirm his break with a DF, and he saved 2 set points.
