Last fight v Brizuela. Tommy goes life and death but then benefits from an extremely contentious stoppage. He then benefits from another odd finish with Campbell looming. Looks like Eddie is manoeuvring this fight. ....It stinks

Just think it's a little bit fishy..no signs of pain from Gethin..huge payday in jeopardy...

Extremely contentious is pushing it a bit. Thought Brize la should have been allowed to go on but Tommy would have taken him out.

I like tommy Coyle but 2 odd finishes in a row..on the eve of a massive payday for all stinks. That's all I'm saying.

2 odd in a row? He nearly knocked Katsidas into next year!

So in a stroke of sheer mastery and so brilliant in its complexity, Coyle was given absolute for 11 rounds by Brizuela before the contentious stoppage and then made to look average against Gethin before injury stopped the fight. They certainly had me fooled.

Was a very anti-climatic finish..............It was on the level.... What got me was how happy Gethin seemed to be about it..........

I've seen fighters almost brawling with their cornermen when they've tried to pull them out.....

The Katsidis fight was a pure gimmick as well. Should be wiped from his record. The way he celebrated that win nearly made me sick if I'm honest

I had two perforated eardrums...I didn't want people punching me in the head.

Gethin had a perforated eardrum apparently, I'm sure he was happy not to be punched in the head any more either. You, however, feel he shouldn't have been happy about not being punched in the head after suffering a perforated eardrum and been distraught about losing out on a potential big pay day. Maybe you have different priorities to everyone else what with you being....whatever it is you are. Me? I'd just be happy to be taken backstage and dosed up to the eyeballs with painkillers.

Maybe once the adrenaline wore off and the painkillers kicked in, Gethin was able to bemoan his rotten luck...which you don't believe in. Neither of us know, however we both have an opinion on it and last time I checked, "all opinions welcome"

Yes he was all smiles because he wasn't getting punched on an ear with a perforated eardrum....or maybe he was just too stupid to realise what had slipped through his fingers or maybe the fix was in, there was nothing wrong with him and he's just made himself a pretty penny
