Wembley to host Euro 2020 Final and Semi Finals

UEFA do love Wembley.

Now to actually be there...

I can just imagine it - Glenn Hoddle the England manager, a re release of Three Lions, and Raheem Sterling, our first openly gay footballer, leading his country to a heartbreaking penalty shoot-out defeat to Germany in the semis.

After all, some things never change!

Probably chosen because if it was in Munich, the German team would have home advantage in the semi and Final, no such issue for England

For me, it's like the FA cup this. It kind of ruins the feeling of playing at the same ground for a semi & then the final. Just my opinion. Baku & St Petersbury clearly bribed with oil money for those votes

I do like that Scotland got a game despite being "Inadequate" and Wales who were top 3 on the lists for Stadiums got nothing.

Gutted Wales didn't get even a game. As anyone who has been to Cardiff for the rugby, the day itself is pretty much unparalleled in terms of fan experience, with the stadium at the centre of the city along with bars and restaurants. Not to mention what a magnificent stadium the MS is. Bets atmosphere i've ever experienced. I also agree with John that the semi final's should never be played in the same stadium as the final.

I suspect this will be fun. Once. As a permanent idea, kills the magic of international tourneys.
