Squad Sizes - 2013/14 Domestic Competition
first number is the amount of players to have started a League match, secon the number who have had just replacement appearances

Harlequins: 35/9
Sale: 31/6

Exeter: 30/6

London Irish: 34/7

Ranges from total squad size of 44 (Sarries/Tigers) to 36 (Exeter). Frommemory (did this same piece last year) in general this is fewer players than 2012/13.

Very interesting, thanks for that.
For all the talk of the top 14 being so tough they aren't using that many players to rotate.
Not surprised the rabo use the most players as teams like Glasgow, Leinster and Treviso are decimated during the AI and 6N.

The top-down league Co-Ops do have whole substructures to draw upon. The bottom-up privateers can't just nick off their rivals' shelves to supply stock deficiencies.

Very interesting, I guess the reason the T14 clubs squads are the biggest is that there are only so many SH superstars available...

Think that tells us what we knew. Teams with fewer Internationals can operate with smaller squads.
